Why do you live more of a urban area?

Ottawa doesn't really have a million people. It's more Ottawa + all the surrounding small towns which are technically within city limits. Like where I technically live in the 'city' of Ottawa and as you can see it's not really city at all. Mostly suburban neigbourhoods and rural farms.
