Love stories and Romantic Storylines featuring INTJs

Can anybody recommend some decent films (or TV shows if you can) with a love story (not necessarily a rom-com) involving a male INTJ character?

Bonus points if the partner is an INFJ female XD

Some say Darcy in Pride and Prejudice is an INTJ and Elizabeth might be an INFJ.

WHAT DO I WIN JIM?

The Social Network (though he gets dumped at the beginning of the movie--hey, you didn't specify a happy love story...)

Earth's Children series; Clan of the Cave Bear, Valley of Horses, Mammoth Hunters, Plains of Passage, Shelters of Stone, Land of Painted Caves (haven't read that one yet). I'm sure that Ayla is an INTJ; it's all prehistoric.

Probably gonna be one of the better examples. Darcy may or may not be INTJ, but he certainly has enough traits to fake it. (I always got the impression of INTP--seemed a bit indecisive)

He seemed ENTJ to me with the marshalling of his crew and what not. But ya, as far as romance, about as exciting as a male INTJ.

Raistlin Majere seemed to be INTJ. In the legends series, the woman he manipulates may have been INFP as well. Although it has been years since I have read the novels, so I may be mistakened. The story doesn't have a happy ending though--bit obvious considering Raistlin set himself up against everything, including the Gods.

Oh wait... male??? Shit, fuck... does romancing world domination count?

You might need to peruse gay novels...

Mr. Thornton in "North & South" (BBC miniseries, based on a classic novel)

Mr. Darcy in "Pride & Prejudice"

POSSIBLY Edward Rochester in "Jane Eyre" -- Jane Eyre herself is an INFJ.

I don't watch it, but I hear House is an INTJ and he's seeing someone.

I know of many more in which romance at some point plays a role in the story, but it is neither the main focus nor ends well (since most INTJs are villains... Lex and Lana in "Smallville," Sylar and Elle in "Heroes," and even though it is straight up screwy, Hannibal and Clarice in the "Silence of the Lambs" movies).

Wasn't there an indie movie in theatres a little while ago about a guy with Asperger's who awkwardly romanced a woman he liked? He'd be kind of like an INTJ, no?

Movies of such are rare. Never mind romantic movies.

However, I did manage to come up with two:

  • Grosse Point Blank (though there is a strong argument for Cusack's character being ISTP)
  • A Good Year, staring Russell Crowe. He plays a complete ass, definitely TJ. Possibility ENTJ, though more likely INTJ. The romantic attraction has an INFJ feel to her.
