Hagbard

one more for the road...

Hi fellow INTJs, -haters and -aficionados,

I have been lurking in the shadows of this forum for several weeks,

and finally decided to post an introduction.

So, what is there to say about me?

I took the MBTI about a year ago, mainly as a form of procrastination.

The accuracy of the result left me gobsmacked to say the least. :stunned:

To my knowledge I have never met another INTJ in real life, so yeah, life is lonely at the top! ;D But reading all these insightful posts here has already helped to improve my understanding of myself and this weird but fascinating reality out there. Thank you all for this.

Argh... it's bright out here. Now where did I put my sunglasses?

Welcome Hagbard!

Like you, I was also "lurking in the shadows"! I must say, that Captain Picard avatar is awsome. Star Trek TNG was a great show. I just found it so interesting for some reason, although not a Trekkie.

As you said, it is lonely at the top. I am lucky enough to have met another INTJ. Someone actually other than me that knows what is going on out there.

Welcome Mr Celine, nice avatar.

Thanks Purplefnords.

I'm curious:

The Illuminatus Trilogy really messed with my sense of reality while I read it.

Did you experience somthing similar, or was it just a (weird) story to you?

All Hail Discordia!

I was around 19 or 20 years old when I read it. And it was the perfect companion to my hormones and general thought processes at the time. :p Lots of Laughs, and a nice antidote to a fairly protected upbringing, in a sense.

Having grown up reading paranormal, psychology, and mysticism related 'nonfiction' throughout my teens, it helped me to chill out and enjoy my own imagination more, and to be less serious about everything.

Let me know when a crew member position on your submarine becomes available! hehe.

My sub is in the drydock at the moment.

And I fear it will be, until the repair crew accept my flax based currency.

But don't worry: Vacant positions will first be posted on this forum.

Welcome to the forum. Don't be afraid of the sunlight, it's good for you (in small doses). Just don't forget your sunblock.
