  1. As comunazi said, in what capacity do you mean something minor? Different settings would yield different results.
  2. I value my privacy. On top of that I could careless what mindless activities people may be doing. People take it too serious, as well as themselves.
  3. I can honestly say I am not familiar with Dr. Oz show. The little I have seen leads me to believe he is a dullard with an agenda. The fact that people listen to this mindless drivel is what is really concerning (sorry I digress). It is as IslandHead said, at best there may be a correlation, a very shaky correlation.
  4. I can only provide my own personal insight. I don't necessarily reject empathy, I just have low empathy for most people or circumstances. I believe empathy is kind of useless, especially if you cannot act on it or change situations. Whether this has always been the case I do not know.

By no means is it complete or should it be used as a primary source of information. P.s. Wikipedia has referenced sources some of which are primary sources and can be used. I have written papers based off of referenced sources found on Wikipedia.
