  1. Woo! Stoked. Civ V is one of my all time favorites.
  2. I am taking some time off next week for a random adventure. I am definitely going somewhere, but I'm not sure where yet. I would love any suggestions.

  4. Male sexuality is different from female sexuality. Deal with it.
  5. The value of human life is not, in fact, predicated upon economic value. Underlying assumption is incorrect. This thread is moot.
  6. Someone with a hemp ankle bracelet
  7. I'll need more details on the insemination process.
  8. Really interesting, thoughtful replies here. Much appreciated.
  9. I finished school and started my career about six months ago, and I've noticed I've begun to get in a little bit of a rut. Everything seems to be going great, but I don't have as much motivation as I used to. I think I've become a little disillusioned with the world. I definitely do not want to become passive and wake up in 20 years and wonder what I did with my life. As such, I decided that I need to do something to gain a wider perspective on things. Can anyone suggest things I can do to give me a wider perspective on life? Some kind of new hobbies or experiences? Maybe a book I could read? I already exercise and play musical instruments. I feel like I'm relatively well-versed in most of the academic disciplines (philosophy, religion, psychology). I just need something that will possibly make me see life from a different angle.
  10. I just moved to a new house in what appears to be a decent enough neighborhood. However, there is a sketchy hotel nearby, and my city has a high crime rate. To top it all off, I woke up to some noise last night and I still have no idea what the cause of it was. It was definitely substantial noise. The only possibility I can think of other than some sort of intruder was that something in the attic randomly fell off a shelf or something. Anyway, I decided I am going to buy a gun and a security system today. It probably won't be a professional/monitored system, just something that will make noise. Also, I plan on buying a gun. Do you guys have any recommendations for what sort of equipment I should get? Also, home defense tactics in the event there is a breakin would be welcome.
  11. Specialized Hardrock Pro 29'er. Love it!
  12. I have been kicking around the idea of getting some decent software, speakers, and other equipment in order to make EDM music as a hobby. I have a decent amount of prior instrumental musical experience, and I think it would be fun to experiment with synthesized stuff. Does anybody have any recommendations for software/equipment to get get started? Any tips for sample kits, etc.?
  13. Jesus dude those stories are crazy. That is a lot to process psychologically. Pretty badass.
  14. Hey Lex! I just got your post from two months ago. I haven't been on the forum in awhile! I'm doing fine, thanks. I just got married and am finishing up some graduate coursework...been busy! How are you? Did you graduate from law school yet?
