I instantly thought of highlander.
I wanted to scream "There can only be ONE!!!!!" and then hunt down every single INTJ on the planet and behead them with a sharpened katana. Then I reallized how irrational that would be, not to mention that I couldn't exactly scream at the present state because I was indoors at a library when it dawned on me that I wasn't as special and unique as I thought I was.

Awesome!

And indeed it is. It took me a while longer to realize that the other types are, too.

I was awed by the fact that there might be other similar people out there (and relieved that it was a relatively low percentage).

After testing by another INTJ who knew me before I saw myself, I thought

"Okay so now you know why the rest of these people really annoy me."

I was typed as an ISTJ the first time I took it, but took it again a few years later and decided that it described me better. However, my reaction was still:

"BS. This doesn't describe me entirely. Any test that tries to is wrong. It may be accurate about some things, but not everything."

A while later I realized it was a tool, not a box, and I felt better. I got into it after reading up more about it.

It was surprisingly accurate, which I did not expect for a test with only 16 outcomes.

But it sure as hell explained a lot.

Relieved because my quirks don't make me insane or warped, I'm not alone! XD

And then I laughed because the Ideal career is very scientific.. I'm into the Arts so yay me for being even more strange. (Though I do think scientifically lol)

'Oooo That explains it'. Although It took me a while to relize how right the test was. I have never put much faith in personality quizzes.

"holy crap! all of my basic and defining traits were on the internet in one page."

A mix of feeling reduced to a few paragraphs and not feeling so alone in the way I am.

There's no way somebody can describe me based on my arbitrary answers to a 100-odd questions about whether I prefer the word "sparkling" or "pastoral." They might as well ask if I prefer my roll of toilet paper to come out over the top or under next to the wall.

I know this is off topic but. Always under, if you have cats you know why.

It was a combination of the following:
I'm not alone
Hope for humanity
This system explains why I don't play well with others

Well besides the fact that I was appealed to know I wasn't the only one... I felt someone was spying on me all this years and reading my mind somehow... I felt a bit naked upon reading the descriptions since it is 99.9% accurate... How can someone figure out who I was by me simply answering a few questions... Intriguing..

Never the less everything I come upon in that regards just seems to click, as well as some of the descriptions for my sign "PISCES"....

Finding this site was awesome.. to find people that were similar to me in some areas was great.. but although we do share a lot of things I have learn that we do still differ and therefore we are still very much unique to ourselves..

I guess it's worth saying that my second thoughts after reading the description were more along the lines of "wait a second..." The description is fairly accurate, but it seems more accurate than it really is.

  • I've suspected it, but expected some 60-80 different types.
  • Another thing that wasn't discovered by me.
  • The greatest discovery of mankind, how fortunate I am to live in this epoch.

Only 4 letters? More tests, more data! I need more INTJs to compare & contrast with. What are the advantages & disadvantages? What do I need to change? What can I improve upon? Is this information reliable? How can I use this with other people? What data is out there based upon relationships between types?.....**obsession, obsession, obsession**

And then answers to those only led to more questions. When will it stop?
