I read a full set of encyclopedias, a two volume dictionary, a set of bible stories and the bible. Those are the stories I remeber from my childhood.

My favorite childhood book series was called How and Why and encompassed just about every subject from aviation to zoology. I loved the poetry volume and so many others.

Honesty: You want it blunt, I got that; you're in pain and need it served up soft, I can do that, too. Bu lie? Only when someone's survival is at stake, which doesn't happen too often in my world, 'anymore'.

Favorite restaurant, and what do you eat there?

Rumbi's (They serve Pacific Island food and play reggae--lots of Marley and Cliff, and they're laid back--the staff). I have same thing: Maui 'Blackened' Salmon but hold the black part, with white rice, Caesar salad, and two orders of tempura shrimp with orange-honey sauce.

I have such a sweet tooth!

How old were you when you got or gave your first 'romantic' kiss?

22, I think: I seduced a middle-class boy my age by reading him my poetry in front of a fireplace (we got so engrossed in each other that we didn't notice the flue was closed until a roommate came downstairs to open it), and later I put on Nat King Cole and we slow-danced, kissed...

*snaps out of it*

If you were completely alone in a private garden with a "Keep off the grass" sign, would you obey it?

If I want to walk on the grass, the sign would not stop me but I would not disobey the sign just for the sake of it.
