The 21 Lessons of Merlyn by Douglas Monroe. Has got to be, IMO, the biggest load of so-called 'Druidic' BS I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. I wanted to pluck out my eyes....

i read Herodotus and loved his writing style; next i bought Thucydides and read about halfway into it and couldn't make myself continue. tried again a few years later, from the beginning; no good. from where i left off before; no good. reading shampoo ingredient labels are more engaging.

the bible
*ooooooooooh burn!!! yeesssss he went there!!!! I'm joking of course ... I haven't read the bible. :P Can't think of the worst book from the top of my head right now though. Probably the instruction manual for my watch or something equally tedious and uninteresting. are you offended by politically incorrect jokes? |

Predjudiced ones, unless being told by a member of the 'maligned' group, yes. Other than that, no.

No in most cases, but if it is particularly nasty / prejudiced and if I feel that the person telling the joke is prejudiced against the target group of the joke then I will probably feel uneasy. Not personally offended though, just uneasy / uncomfortable.
What is the longest essay / thesis / book / document you have ever written and how long was it (approximate if you don't remember) |

Long, as in uninteresting and tedious, my home loan contract documents. I read them ~ 3 weeks ago. They are roughly 3/4" thick, legal sized. It took me 4 1/2 hours. As for plain longest book, Morte de Aurthur, a gift from an awesome person. Intermittently reading and at 937 pages, it has taken me 5 months to get 2/3 through.
What is the boringest post you've read recently on INTJf and the subject? |

Harsh man. Really harsh
I'm going to give this a pass, since if a topic looks boring then I'm not going to click on it, and if it didn't look boring but it turns out to be boring I'll just leave, and I won't remember it... So I'll just pass the buck to someone else same question |

at 16 (1978, finished up about 3pm). mom let me drive back to school to pick up my best friend. pulling down the drive (from the school parking lot) i was rear ended by a 4x4 pickup and shoved into the car in front of me. 3 car pileup in less than an hour of getting my license.

at 19 (1988). Was living in Aberdeen, WA. at the time. Friend had picked up for me a cheap 1970's Honda moped and taught me to ride (I was already accustomed to pillion). He then lent me his car so I could takie the test, which back in the day meant that you could ride a low cc bike if you had a car license. Was interesting learning to drive both types of vehicles at once.

I'm 19 years old and I still don't have mine haha, I'm hoping to get it within 6 months, Australia is a bit of a nanny state when it comes to things like this, you need to go through quite an ordeal to get your license... you need to be 18, need to take medical tests, vision tests, driving theory tests, tests on driving stimulator, tests in real cars, over 120 hours of documented driving experience as a learner... with over 10 hours at night...
and we have a very low population density so you would think the roads would be safer... When is the last time you have done something new? |
