Resistance all the way.

Do you have any recurring dreams, and what are they?

I'm very sorry to say that I haven't remembered any of my dreams for many years.

Same question.

No no no. I remember my dreams occasionally, but none are recurring.

Civil disobedience or anarchism. (I have zero respect for anyone who picks, imho, the wrong one - but i wont tell you if you do :P )

Well, I'm a minarchist, not an anarchist, so I have to go with civil disobedience, at least as a first step. If a government becomes too oppressive, I'm prepared to go violent revolution on their ass, though, and start from scratch. The tree of liberty must, from time to time, be watered with the blood of patriots and tyrants alike, after all.

Socialism or libertarianism? (Which one I prefer should be clear, but I'll try not to lose all respect for you if you're wrong

This isn't the "which" thread! How big should government be, in your opinion?

Medium sized. Though what that is - god knows.

What is earliest thing you can remember in your life, your first memory?

I had a bad dream of a murder's shadow... and when I awoke, I ran into my parent's room crying. I think I was 3 or so.

There's a thread about this. I'm too lazy to find & link it.

I'm pretty sure it was seeing Star Wars in the theater when I was 2 or 3. I have a couple of very early memories of movie theaters, strangely. Or maybe those are just the ones which I can date confidently.

Are you more likely to regret saying too much, or saying too little, in daily life?

Wow - that is hard to narrow down. Maybe easier to talk about what I am not interested in talking about: shopping, sports, arrogant talk or negatively motivated talk.

That is tough. There are many things, but I agree that I DON'T like talking about shopping, gossip (especially celebrity gossip - ugh), and arrogant talk (that's the worst.) If one's conversation frequently centers around how great they are, then I'm going to get tired of it really fast - and probably form some negative opinions about them in the process...

I can talk about movies, books, and music forever, assuming the audience has similar taste.

What words come to your mind when you see an orange?

This book was actually very insightful. It was given to me by a friend I greatly admire, she rec'd it from a friend and had no desire to read it. As much as I thought it might be religiously steered, it was more philosophically driven.. thus I was hooked immediately.

I have ordered through my local indie bookstore, but I have not received yet:

Semantic Antics by Sol Steinmetz (think I got the last name spelled right?)
Subtitle is : How and why words change meaning.
Cannot wait to get it!!!

Describe your favorite breakfast.

Two toasted sandwiches with fake bacon sandwiched in, along with orange juice.

What is your favorite book?

Very clever!

That is probably easier for me, though I like many movies - I will always resonate with To Kill A Mockingbird.

The original Star Wars will always be my absolute favorite but as far as movies I'm not biased towards because of childhood memories, probably Hiroshima Mon Amour or Natural Born Killers. Haven't seen NBK in a while but it blew my mind when I first saw it.

What time did you go to bed last night (creepiest question ever?)?

And, what is the most disturbing book you have ever read cover to cover (no skipping out)?
