...that's only allowed between consenting adults, and with proper protection.

ENFPs live in the "N" world like us; they can totally click no problem with INTJs.

They are extraverted (pull us out of our inner world so we can relate), feeling-driven NFs, and Perceiver-dominant (which means they are amazing with on-the-fly ideas, dropping any and all things to join you on a spontaneous adventure, etc.)

They will create some of your favorite conversations if you talk to them for just a few minutes. They will also drive you nuts how they can't stay on topic unless it's a very serious conversation, but it will only seduce you to their charms even more.

Sure opposites attract, but you are missing the important question: Are they successful in the long-term. The answer to that is No.

I'm an ENTJ, I was with an ISFP for a long time. Interesting for some of it? Yes. Productive? Not exactly. Successful: Note I said "was with."

The lesson I learned: Never, ever again. Never. Male Fs need not apply.

Oh, an ENFP. You guys are so hyper and goofy. I've always gotten along with ENFP's, just nothing ever gets done.

You can have them. I suppose an ENFJ might possibly be ok. An INFJ is pushing it, unless it's a very weak F. SF's can just forget it.

David Keirsey (in his book Please Understand Me II: Temperament, Character, Intelligence) writes that, for mating at least, SPs and SJs get along best, and NTs and NFs get along best. Keirsey recommends finding a mate that has a completely opposite personality than you do, with the exception of S/N. For example, an ESTP would get along best with an ISFJ, and an INTJ would get along best with an ENFP. Keirsey says that in these relationships, each person "completes" the other while still having things in common.

I'm not sure how accurate that is, but I seem to get along well with NFs. I haven't ever met an ENFP in real life, though. Anyways, welcome to the forums! (Your avatar seems very NF-ish )

Oh, hi! I know lots of people like you. They're usually funny, until they get on my nerves (Too much E or F).

I don't know if I have ever known any female ENFPs though I have a guy friend who's an ENFP. I always enjoy his enthusiasm and great ideas.

The P side is when things does not get done. But, its cool, if both sides have something in common to talk about. Start a topic, then someone create that environment for you, so both sides does not get afraid to step out of their comfort zone.

I don't mind the P so much as the E+F part. They generally come in two varieties in my experience: Extremely needy or Humanitarian Crusaders. And I have no need for either.

I have met one or two that were exceptions to that, but both of them had been rudely exposed to the real world and had a good helping of cynicism infused in their bodies.

wow, sucks for you, the F side is no problem with me, but the P, well its great for comedy, ideas, conversations, but won't get things done.

I've never worked that well with extroverted guys, in fact I've always preferred highly introverted men. Charismatic, affable men just don't do it for me. I've been "in love" once, and the object of my affection was/is very INTJ-ish.

He could watch real video clips of people getting decapitated, out of sheer curiosity. Though I understand, quite well actually, how nasty life can get and just how visceral we meat robots are...still, I could never watch such a gruesome scene.

I am the most solitary extrovert that I know, I can't stand being emotionally hijacked by strangers, and stupid and mean strangers, at that?!?!?

Thanks, but no thanks. I rather enjoy my own company than suffer in the company of those who are suffering.
