. I thought it would be interesting to see how other INTJs see themselves.

Cool, Calm and Collected

Note to self: I love you

You take just enough time in the morning to look your best and you do believe that that is an achievable goal. You have days where you feel your apperrance is ify, but for the most part you think that you are a very attractive and deserving person. You know that you are not Tyra Banks nor are you trying to be. You are okay with the statues quo. If someone tells you that you look good it boosts your confidence and you hardly ever second guess the compliment or try to find the fault in the statement. You take other's opinions into consideration but their opinion doesn't make or break you. You tend to have well balanced relationships and you feel worthy of the person that your with. You like to be around other people who feel good about themselves but you do have atleast one friend who is Rock Bottom, Down and Out or The Narcissist. You try to help them see their inner beauty and try to bring them down a notch but in the end you accept them for who they are the way you accept yourself for who you are.

Quite accurate.

Cool, Calm and Collected

I couldn't bring myself to copy the result text because the spelling mistakes were so horrendous.

Keep up the good fight soldier. You are right where you need to be. You have a balanced amount of self approval and self critisism. If you are toward the low end of this grouping continue to remind yourself that you are the beautiful person that people say you are. Your relationships won't be ending because of your confidence level but try to avoid taking in "stray cats" or Rock Bottoms because they will have a tendency to bring you down to their level. You're going to be okay and that's OK!"

Well, I don't know if I'm cool an calm and collected (actually, I'm not!), but I can relate to the description... It's true that I don't feel superior or inferior to anybody, and it's true that this is something we have to fight all our life to maintain; Success and Failure - as a really famous poem says- are life's biggest impostores.

Not an INTJ, but I want to know how I see myself, too.

Your result for Self-Esteem Test...

Down and Out

I guess this looks ok

You're the one that takes hours to get dressed becuase it is almost impossible for you to find something you think that you look good in. The thought of it is what makes you less than excited to get up in the morning. You feel pretty or good looking but you feel that if you just got a nip here or a tuck there you would/could be a knock out. You take compliments well as long as they aren't too over zelous and think you look good as long as you remember to apply your enhancements : Sunglasses, makeup, pushup, hat, etc. You know you can attract the opposite sex but you often spend time wondering if that person is eventually going to leave you for something better and you find yourself testing that other person until they either yell "Enough!" or they walk away, which you expected them to do in the first place. You feel like you have to have a significant other to feel good about yourself but you tend to be a little more selective when it comes to that other so that it makes it harder for you to find the person that you need to be with.

Down and out isn't as bad as you think. It's not that good either. You need to give yourself a break. You are as beautiful as they say you are. Stop checking your make-up every five seconds and you do look good in those jeans, thats why you bought them! You don't give yourself enough credit so now it's time to collect. When someone tells you how great you look don't make qualifications for yourself ("oh not really," "This dress is like 10 years old," "Are you serious, I'm a cow." "Make-up works wonders"). Instead the next time someone tells you how great you look say "Thank you" and more importantly, believe them. Whoever made you feel not as pretty is a liar and/or is jealous of the inner beauty that you exude. Erase the negative and drown in the positive.

Haha, I can relate to this, somewhat... I don't need a significant other to feel good about myself, and I get dressed pretty fast (whatever's nearby'll do). My self-esteem has greatly improved the last months, though, so I shudder to think what I'd score some months back.

Down and Out

I never got the feeling-good-about-myself idea, but I am an egoist, so I might have just missed that tiny matter while ascending to intrapersonal godhood. I don't pay too much attention to my appearance, and what feedback I get is rare but occasionally very positive though always surprising. Being flabby and other less temporal things are a concern. Clothes certainly aren't.

Another Cool, Calm and Collected.

I noticed that most people (via the graph on the side) seemed to score that way.

Down and Out. Much of that doesn't make too much sense to me since I normally just exist, not gripe over my physical appearance. My thing is I think I'm really dumb sometimes.

I got Rock Bottom. I don't think its accurate for me because I couldn't find a choice that I agreed with in most of the questions.

This test seems to be created by a narcissistic fashion freak, or that is what the average western citizen is forced to become. My favourite question and answer:

When you see someone who has your ideal body type you think...

> Give me a gun so I can kill myself now

Not because of low confidence, but because of the meaninglessness of the term 'your ideal body type', and this type of questions at all.

Anyway, my final result: Cool, Calm and Collected
You scored 82 on Confidence, higher than 95% of your peers.

I gave up half way through because the questions were so bad and almost none of the answers applied me. I'll assume that means my self esteem is high.

It's nice to know that my dislike for my alarm clock is actually a deep-rooted self-image problem. I'll work on that... next week, maybe.

Didn't manage to make it through the entire quiz too, here, but I know my self-esteem's fine. Admittedly, more than 'fine'.

Cool, Calm and Collected.

I think the test focused far too much on looks and clothing, as if nothing else matters for self-esteem.

wow, i'm down and out?? I can see most of it being me but a lot of it is .. not me. I think it seems like one of those generalization quizzes where they list a lot of stuff and hope some of it is you.

Calm, cool and collect here. I completely agree with you, enWTFp. This is a bullshit test.
