I know it's a bit Cliché to ask, but I think the majority of you here might come up with some pretty interesting ones.

If you could pick one SuperHuman Power (you may only choose one) which would it be.

I'll go first with a little bit of a boring one, but what I consider to be useful which would be the ability to teleport.

Being able to explain to a lay person what an INTJ is and why I do the weird shit I do.

Either that or being able to read minds.

Only 9000? I would have suspected you could easily do 12,572.

Telekenisis, in Chronicle terms. Not much need for teleporting, super strength, or invulnerability when you have those powers.

Immortality. I'm okay with the whole 'outliving everyone you know and love' thing that implies.

Unimaginably brilliant and effective genius. It seems like a wish well spent, considering.

Thats an interesting choice. Im imagining you were the only human left after you survived an apocalypse. I wonder what that would be like. You wake up one day and you're left completely alone.

Cat-like reflexes. To be able to slow down time just a little to achieve those reflexes.

Why 'super human'? I was never sick since years, have no allergies or whatever chronic illness, have never been to hospital, never broke a bone, just had some minor bruises and scratches. If I cut myself, the bleeding stops right away and the wound is 'closed' next day. The healing of such wounds never lasts longer than a week. I don't need super human powers :D

It could depending on your take on it, but not mine (I'd never want to live forever, maybe be eternal but not immortal). My take on this is similar to Mosfet's post just above but more exaggerated. Not necessarily strength or power you just can't break, through this you could potentially obtain super strength/speed/resilience (since your muscles and bones could never burn out and you never get ill you could just keep getting better) but you'd have to work for it.

Your natural state would be one far above normal human standards; like falling out of an airplane and not breaking any bones or rupturing any organs when you land; that sort of thing.

I like this point of view. How would you be able to die though? Old age?

I would like foresight.

Simply the ability to rapidly comprehend and know what the outcome of any situation would be. I don't mean being able to see into the future. Rather having the ability to figure out in my head what will happen without putting forth any effort.

My basic take on the power comes from the movie of the same name; so it has the same flaw, you likely have a weakness to something or perhaps it just takes a large enough force...maybe something that instantly vaporizes your cells or something of equal force.

On the side of being eternal though, I imagine it is more like you simply don't age, you can still die if someone kills you (a la Highlander) so once you were done with life you could probably just off yourself.

Now that would be nice.

Ghost abilities (Move thru objects, Fly, Invisibility, Possession, Immortality)

Although if you consider that cheating then I suppose Transformation would suffice; then I could take any form I chose and still go unseen and perhaps even maintain a longer lasting form.

If I got to go nuts I would want those plus these and just be a force of nature unto myself.

Transformation (Take any form, change anything else’s form)

Elemental control (power over Fire, Wind, Water and Earth, Electricity, ect)

Immortality/Invulnerability (live forever, cannot be killed)

Telepathy and Instant comprehension (Be able to instantly understand information be it written or in one’s mind)

Teleporting would save me a lot of money, since my city is so spread out it's a necessity to have a car.
