I'm a sort-of regular user of dextromethorphan (dxm), in short it's a dissasociative that voids emotion, social norms etc.

Just wondering if anyone else here uses psychotropic substances?,
I find it helps me to think on a more level field (sometimes), and opens up a door of possibilities that mirror whatever thoughts I may have.

I understand the use of drugs to free the mind and used to drink(until I realised what it did to me) when I was stressed to make myself normal like everyone else(It was the only way I new that would switch off my brain).

But I can't see the point of psychotropic substances to visualise my thoughts, they are extremely clear in my mind as they are. Stimulants and Depressants do nothing to make them clearer.
