Espy wasn't offering anybody coffee. She just likes to drink her own damn coffee in everybody else's face.

So, when you said, "No thanks, too late in the day," Samia thought you were talking about the brownies that Womby had told ntwady that he should present.

And so, when Samia said, "No," she was saying it wasn't too late in the day for brownies.

Which was correct, I might add — which is kind of unusual for Samia.

So your throat was never in any coffee danger, although you may have killed whatever brownie momentum there might otherwise have been.

I hope this clears things up.

I think I'll peel off the bacon and eat it separately first.

But disgust? I'll continue to reserve my disgust for jello, marshmallows, okra, mincemeat, white chocolate and applesauce, separately or in any combination.

*shares the bacon cheesecake with the last word*

PS: Poor Caillien — the Queen of the thread, FYI — is allergic to many foods and misses bacon more than any of the others, so you might want to make yourself scarce before she shows up, since the lady is famous for having what you might call a

Meh.

Not enough coffee to be truly enraged by the presence of bacon.

Jello is only acceptable if it was made with a ridiculous amount of vodka.

Even then, I'm not a big fan of it.

White chocolate is decent. I find small, small amounts of that or milk chocolate to be the only tolerable forms of eating chocolate plain. Sometimes it's okay if it's like a chocolate chip cookie or something, but I usually hate eating just chocolate.

The jello is naught but a vessel for the vodka, but I'd much rather consume it in other fashions.
