Every time I get to hear a large-chested woman's opinion on bras, I'm grateful to be an A cup.

I'm of the same thought.

I couldn't be bothered not wearing a bra at home or going to do some food shopping. Yet I don't like seeing myself in front of everyone else (mostly men), with pointy nipples marks, while doing a company presentation. I need them to focus on what I'm saying not what I have underneath my clothes.

Bras are uncomfortable. If I wasn't afraid of the knife, I'd turn my double CC's into B's just for the freedom of loose girls at all times. This may just be me as in general I detest and resent having to wear clothes.

I've seen too many big breasted women go around ... and rest them on any surface they can find.

!! this i haven't seen. why am i laughing? bwaha.
it must be because i could go out without a bra but it would feel a bit too exposed to the world, and there are creepers about who like to look at your nipples and imagine you naked. so... yay for bras (even if they are mostly unnecessary for some people, they can be quite pretty... i had one friend with large boobs who was always jealous of my bras because she could never find cute ones to support hers, whereas i have tons of colors and styles and such... grass is always greener).

Well I am sure women weren't totally helpless before epidurals, the pill, pads and tampons, hormone replacement - but it does make life a whole lot easier

P.S - Have you pull a mussel in your breast doing sport? Hurts like a mother F***** my friend

wear a bra now, stop the sag later. Also, it's fine if you're an A cup, but I never appreciated the attention I received when I didn't wear a bra.

I don't hate wearing clothes, but I hate clothes I have to feel too keenly (including bras), including jeans and tight, form fitting clothing that makes me feel trapped and constricted. Going nude in solitude is not so bad either. Funny. //tangent

I don't even own a bra, but I do wear undershirts/camisoles so it's not like I have nipples poking out all the time either.

I love how pro nud so many of you are! In germany nudity is not a big deal, in there teenage girl mags they often have section with a young girl pictured naked talking about the movies and music she likes. As a result young girls are exposed to pictures of real bodies (un like the porn there watching). They also have lower rates of anorexia and other bodydismorphia.

I think we need a whole lot more normal naked bodies in public view, right now we freak for something as banal as breast feeding.

The trouble with being overly civilized is that some very human elements are suppressed, human bodies and sexuality being some of them and people become afraid of their very nature, preferring to keep it under wraps than accept it for what it is. I think society needs to find a balance and stop being ashamed of our more primal instincts. All this skittishness and finger wagging about sexuality are hilarious and pathetic at the same time. I learned about sex at an early age due to watching some films when my parents were away. My mother was never skittish about it and I don't know why children should be sheltered from information like this when it is in fact a very natural part of us. I am not scarred in the least and would venture to say I have healthier attitudes and habits in sexuality than the vast majority. Sex need not be demonized, as our society likes to do, nor does it need to be glorified to some sacred experience and worshipped at the altar, as our society also likes to do. Sex is not that special.

I don't get it though. Why does everyone hate her? I guess she's a bit snarky, but I don't get why it's such a big deal?

Some social conventions are indeed stupid. Nevertheless, there's often a price for defying them. Technically speaking, there should be nothing wrong with walking around stark naked, right? So why is it illegal? I'm not judging the "ought" of it, just talking about the "is" of it.

I have no idea about whether there's comfort or sagging or whatnot, but I'm pretty sure that if a woman is noticed as going braless all the time, she will be talked about—by men and woman both—and not always in a flattering way.

I've always wondered how it feels to go out bra less but there's no way in hell I can do that. I did used to get teased about my chest when I was in school. They were silly ones, obviously were jokes, but it did made me feel self conscious about it. I remember girls in my school used to say I'm so lucky but I don't see what's so special about having a large chest. I never ever run. Hardly ever. I cannot run to save my life. It's embarrassing. My friends do joke about it. Sometimes when we talk about what we would like to do with our future and whatever they be like; "If it doesn't work out, Samia, don't worry you can always be a porn star." I usually laugh it off but I still do find it to be insulting.

Tell someone you love him today, because life is short. But yell it loudly in German, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

I'm going to happily spend the day braless (and pantie-less and shirtless, etc.) at the nudist colony tomorrow. And I tend to not get dressed at home, even on a work day, unless I'm going out.

However, being a C-cup, I would not be comfortable not wearing a (sports) bra under my clothes. If I were an A or a B-cup, I'd probably tape my nipples rather than wear a bra.

I like how the women on this forum are talking about breasts so openly. I bet they think they're having a civil discussion. Meanwhile men are peeking in here hoping to imagine something naughty.

I agree, I'm very glad, after I talk to my very busty friends to have B cups. Can easily go without a bra but find that when your "headlights are on" that men (and women) stare directly at your nipples....which can be fun sometimes, but usually I don't appreciate it.

Sports bras are the best thing ever invented in my book. Comfortable and utilitarian for everyday wear. And ahhhh. that glorious, glorious feeling of taking off the underwire bra when you get home.

But there is something to be said for a nice racy girly bra...which are really made to be taken off I think.

And I'm amused that a bunch of horny guys googling their way over here might be turning on the A/C over an underwear discussion.

I'm currently on vacation with my parents and my mother has been relentless in attempting to curb my newfound enthusiasm for going braless because I hate those red marks on my torso every time I take them off, and the fact that I find it hard to breathe. I've always had those issues however much I had them refitted. I cited several studies to show her that wearing a bra does not in fact delay the "drooping" and can in fact accelerate it as your ligaments atrophy due to the lack of use. There are more controversial claims about bra wearing and breast cancer but I don't even care about that. The issue is more fundamental for me.

-There is nothing obscene about the female breast, or the nipple if there is nothing obscene about the male counterpart
-It does not serve any documented function other than convention and occasionally a woman might not like feeling her breasts swing when she exercises. The fact that bras evolved from the corset should be clue enough that it is essentially a sex toy to mold the female body into a more ideal shape, that is, into an adolescent "perkiness" that is anything but natural to a mature woman
-Whomever cannot function around a pair braless tits should get over him/herself because your incompetence is none of my business and is not permitted to force me into uncomfortable confines to appease your sensibilities
-Even if not wearing bras causes droopy breasts (it does not), it is trivial because breasts sag with age and there is nothing obscene or terrible about it. Whomever is repulsed by sagging breasts should stay the hell out of that woman's life.

My ISFJ mother was appalled and continues to be appalled because she cannot comprehend that something that is predominant could be wrong, but I have so far silenced her. I told her I would hear no more of it and my decision is final. I guess going away to college finally impressed upon her that while I am her daughter, I am no longer her child to order about.

Awesome.

More power to you.

Funny, isn't it? City streets are littered with obscene billboards (doubly obscene in the sense that they present unattainable ideals) and you have to configure your TV and computer if you want to prevent children from running into some nasty ass porn, but feeding a child?! How dare you?!?!

Maybe I should pull the stunt I do on other forums and create a thread called My Tits Are Awesome and then post photos of tufted titmice inside. That's always good for a laugh.

I remember I saw a thread where a guy said he had literally pain in the ass and it was taken seriously. I bet they think they were having a civil discussion too.

But you know how boys are around boob-talk *sighs*

There was a really brilliant student at my school. She tutored pretty much every subject and got mid-90s on tests that were so hard that an 80 is an A. She had small boobs and tended to wear low cut loose (hippish?) shirts with no bra. I hardly noticed she didn't wear a bra until I overheard people talking shit about her.

My boobs hurt when they're not supported during PMS. I'll definitely be confining my puppies.

Maybe as more people wear what they want it will become less scandalous to see someone's high beams.
