Since most INTJs think they'd be better off as entrepreneurs. Pick one mega business in the history of humankind and make yourself the genius founder of that business. Which one is it? And what's the one thing you'd have done differently?

I'll have to think about this one and come back

Microsoft, if only to ensure a line of Windows operating systems that don't make people want to use their monitors as a touch screen with a brick as the stylus. That paper clip would never have hurt anyone.

The Y2K was also a rather severe underlying flaw.

Great question, well kinda. I would have preferred to not be a founder, since I'm not knowledgeable at running businesses.

Apple is the closest to what I'd do if I had a company. Their closed 'walled garden' pleases me, and their ideal of doing perfect products is right up my alley. But god damn, their marketing, manipulation etc. That's what I would have changed, make the company leaders stand against manipulative tactics, and not just go with the general flow of other companies when it comes to saving money in China for example, but I can't really comment on that because I don't know of a business model that would have surely gotten them to the same place they are now.

I'd have more stuff, but I'm in a hurry.

Automobile companies for sure.

Why do we have dealerships? Couldn't GM, Ford, etc., sell the cars themselves? Wouldn't that reduce the price of the car and drive sales? I could be talking out of my ass though.

I wouldn't move manufacturing out of country.

I would make them fuel efficient. I don't believe that a bunch of pot smoking college students can produce efficient cars, but these gigantic companies with millions in R&D can't.

Oh, and I would bring back the EV1.

Not necessarily, since GM, Ford and co. would pay overheads for the showrooms.

If I were CEO of McDonalds or Burger King, I would have two operational innovations. Firstly, let customers make their own burgers. Have essentially a buffet of components, ranging from the patties, buns, vegetables, cheese, etc. and charge them per weight of the total purchase (,i.e. if it weighs 2 pounds, charge them on that basis).

I would also, on specific days like public holidays, have an all you can eat on burgers. Or stage a sales promotion every year. Get customers to buy a ticket from any store in a country, and when the winner is announced they get all you can eat burgers/fries for a day for no charge.
