I offended a fellow member on this forum today by making what I thought was a harmless reference to his avatar. What surprised and shocked me was how he took offence at all. How does one get upset over a post in a Game Thread? I am utterly puzzled, confused even.

It is incredibly difficult to tip-toe carefully when you're playing word games. Meanwhile, I am waiting for him to answer my PM.

Perhaps there is something insensitive in my so called "harmless" post. If he will be so kind as to enlighten me, I should be grateful and careful enough to avoid making the same mistake.

The waiting continues. He is silent.
