Sorry, all I have is the English variety. Bon appétit!

Hope is a good breakfast, but it is a bad supper.

Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested: that is, some books are to be read only in parts, others to be read, but not curiously, and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention.

I used to nibble the corners of my books while reading when I was a child. Does that count?

Mmm, I'd tweak it just a bit. I think it's much more effective as

BACON

Now you may analyze that to bits.

Hm. I think the italics convey a little more sizzle, and the urgency that is often associated with needing bacon.

You know what, I just went to get a BLT at the samridge shop near my work, and they were out of freaking bacon.

I had to eat turkey, and I blame you, all of you.

Bacon? Haven't seen any. I'm sure if I HAD seen bacon, which I haven't, that it would certainly not be stockpiled by Friday and I in a sinister plot to control the world through CBLT sammiches.

*whistles*

*looks innocent*
