Su continua presencia no me está llenando con gran alegría.

Your continued presence is not filling me with great joy.

La última palabra se ve frustrado por las demoras innecesarias en nuestro precioso tiempo juntos.

The last word is frustrated by these unnecessary delays to our precious time together.

This is why I can't go away for long. The natural order of things is upset.

The natural order of things is definitely upset, and I don't blame it one bit.

While you're doing your best to calm the natural order of things down and apologize for your inexcusable neglect, I'll keep the last word warm and happy.

When did TLW become bilingual?

It didn't.

The forum rules, which apply here too, disallow non-English posts, translation or no. Please knock it off (not addressing you, Seriously, obviously).

And I'll take the word, while I'm here.

Well, dang. Bilingual posts have been a time-honored tradition here in the last word thread -- going at least as far back as 2008, when le Duc, LionsPride and others offered posts in Latin and morse code!

And besides Latin and morse code, there've also been posts using French, Spanish and German -- not to mention Bajan and maybe one or two tongues I'm not remembering.

I'll be sad to leave them behind.

*raises a toast to dead traditions and the last word*

I'm sure there will be many disappointed linguists around the world when they discover that the last word has been clearly pinned to the English language. I guess negotiations just became a whole lot easier for about 10 countries.
