So yeah, I'm new. 21, male, senior in college, University of Texas, Finance major, minor in Accounting, almost have enough additional hours to have a dual minor in psychology/sociology, but my college doesn't allow dual minors. I really like reading books, and I enjoy mysteries and philosophical/psychological novels the most. Ex. Any book written by Sydney Sheldon, Fight Club, The Alchemist. I also like playing all sorts of video games, and I used to enjoy playing chess, although I haven't had someone to play with in a few years. I also practice a martial art known as Muay Thai. So there's the standard introductory stuff.

I'd say that my life has left me somewhat of a cynic, and my personality can have polar opposites depending on who I'm talking to. Depending on who I'm talking to I can be either sarcastic or sincere, and I sub consciously adjust the intellectual level of the conversation depending on my perception of the other person's intelligence. Kind of a bad habit I have.

Although I'm a finance major I have interests in other studies, such as physics, biology, and psychology, and I'd say I have a wide range of knowledge. I'm also always looking for interesting and intelligent conversation, because face it, in today's world that is a rare thing.

I noticed that you, like, have "intellectual levels". Is that like those rulers with the bubble on them? It can be important to tell when someone's intellect is "on the level"... I guess. I don't know what that means, really, except I'm trying to be nice in the intro threads so that Cooper doesn't beat us again today.

Yeah see, I totally hate when the intellect is unbalanced, and so to make sure everything stays even, every now and then before I talk to someone I make them lay down flat and place the level on their back, and if my intellectual level doesn't balance perfectly I simply tell them that we do not have compatible intellects and therefore should not converse. I think before this conversation goes any further I'd better take a level measure of you, to check and make sure we're intellectually balanced.

This is horrible, now the dog isn't just addicted to the flee powder... he's dealing it as well. How could they do this! [Social Torture starts crying] I could never do that to a dog... or any animal for that matter, people fine, but never an animal.
