The only thing tragic about it is that it wasn't Limbaugh. Oh well, maybe next time around. I put all of those people (Breitbart, Limbaugh, Beck, and the like) on the same level of humanity as the Westboro Baptist Church folks. Evil scum who's death should be celebrated. It gives me a bit of a mental conflict, celebrating in someone's death, but hey, people celebrated when Saddam Hussein was hung, and I didn't really see what was so cool about that. Yet these people, I'll crack a nice bottle of wine each time one of them kicks the bucket. People like Beck, O'Reilly, Limbaugh are abusers of stupid people. These three, for example, are paid to do so by corporate interests through ads. That makes them very mean and therefore I hate them.

Shirley Sherrod is suing him, well I guess his estate now, for defamation. I like your standard though, if someone doesn't file a lawsuit, and win apparently, the videos must be true! Believe it or not, whether someone files a lawsuit is not actually determinative of the veracity of the video.

'These people'. That's better than they deserve to be addressed as, and it's as PC as I will get in addressing them.

First, I'll start with Limbaugh, Beck, and those types of trolls. I don't despise the fact that they have a different point of view, I despise the fact that they go about espousing them in such ways that they, yes, abuse the stupidity of people. And there's so much stupidity. Stupid people can't help being stupid. It's not entirely their fault. People like these prey on the stupid, because the stupid are easily guided by fear, and these personalities are fantastic at spreading hate and fear.

This is America, but the only thing uniting these states anymore is that we all have to pay taxes to the same people, and we mostly speak the same language. These people revel in that, and exacerbate it purposely for nothing more than their own gain. I don't even think they believe half of the crap they spew, they're just trying to make people either afraid, mad, or feel bad about themselves. There is nothing positive about them.

I lump them in with WBC, because they're the same type of people. The ones who will go out of their way to make strangers, who are already suffering, suffer more just because they think they should. And they hid behind the first amendment to do so.

Just because you have the freedom to say what you want, doesn't mean that what you say can't make you an evil piece of shit in the eyes of the general public, who also have that same right.

And that's what they are, as a whole. Evil.

I wouldn't go out of my way for grave dancing for him (though I'd put on a hell of a jig for Fred Phelps...), but I'm certainly not at all unhappy by his demise. If I were that type of scum, then I'd deserve the same, but I and most other people generally try to not exacerbate all of the ills in the world by broadcasting hate, vitriol and bigotry to as many people as possible.
