I am a 23 year old, formerly home educated, nontraditional college student studying biology. I need about 24 more credits before I can transfer my credits and graduate on the cheap and debt free. The money for school comes mostly from my parents, but I earn a little bit of my own money from being on the county school board to which I was initially elected while taking a gap year after graduating high-school. It's an interesting job, and apparently my ability to ask "obvious" questions in a sophomoric way helps the educators turned administrators open up about the way they run things.

My hobbies include: Wikipedia, Cello, Table top RPGs, car camping, shooting, contingency planning, self defense, world domination, global thermonuclear war, and dead hooker disposal.

I suppose I follow up with how I got here, and praise the people who came up with the 2 post minimum for viewing pictures for convincing me to write an introductory post.

My brother would always joke about how his best friend was basically me, except not evil. Then they told me about Meyers-briggs, and it turns out my brother is an ENFP, and his friend and I are INTJ. It took me a while using different online test to figure out INTJ for sure, as I would occasionally come up as an INFJ. I'm pretty hard on myself when it comes to the questions about emotion based decisions, and choosing to act on my introversion is obviously a decision based on emotion! Good descriptions, and reading posts here basically helped me narrow it down to INTJ. Anyways, I'm interested in finding out more about different MB types because it helps me understand family interactions better.

My family also has an ENTJ, which makes for an interesting household. Basically, my brother (ENFP) and her are almost always bickering about something, and they both come whining to me about it, because I get along with both of them pretty well, which I suppose that has helped me develop better in some of the typical INTJ problem areas. I also have a father and a sister of unknown personality types, but they're not nearly as interesting as the ENTJ/INTJ/ENFP cluster F***.

Why are your brother and sister always bickering? And why do you get along with both of them well enough to be the peacemaker?

Genuinely interested. Welcome

Crap, I fail at proofreading. The ENTJ is actually our mother, and I completely fail as a peacemaker, neither one of them actually listens to me. I usually try and be honest with both of them, but there's really not much you can do when an ENTJ has a differing opinion. The one thing that helps is that I'm a good listener.

We can use some listeners here. If you've got lots of time, swing by the dating and relationships sub-forum; they need LOTS of listeners over there. (I tried to help out, but they REALLY get bent when you start giggling in the middle of their "my SO ripped my heart out" stories...)
