Or, more precisely (since I love generalizations, and threads based upon them), which is the coolest MBTI type?

Not clear on what 'cool' is?

Still don't know what 'cool' is? I'm sure this photo will clear some things up for you:

Eye on Earth is INTJ, I think, so by your definition, we win.

That, of course, brings us to the question, Zibber: is it possible to type sexy people? Can one with diagnosed sexy not have a distinct personality type, or, are type and sexy independent, albeit with correlations? But that is for another thread.

INTPs are probably the coolest cats, in my opinion.

I'll have to say ISTP, because to me they are the epithome of the silent, cool guy. Blue jeans, black leather jacket and boots, riding off into the sunset on a motorbike without a care in the world.

Now, this is not to say that I'd want to be one, but as far as "cool" goes, I don't think us INTJs have "it". I'm not saying that we're not cool, but I feel that an INTJ would pull off the "ruthless mastermind"-role better than he'd pull off a "Rebel Without a Cause".

I know an INTP who rides into the sunset on a motorbike, and another who wears a long black coat. Based on that vast experience of INTPs, I can affirm that they are the coolest.

And I think Eye on Earth noticed it and that's why he discretely changed his type to INTX. He's waiting until we grow accustomed to it and then, bam, he'll change again to INTP.

When I think of a masculine archetype for "cool," I think of Sean Connery's ESTP version of James Bond. I also think of Pierce Brosnan's ESTP version of Thomas Crown. That movie had me wishing I was a sophisticated, multimillionaire ESTP art thief/financial tycoon for months.

In fact, I still wish it.

Therefore: ESTP.

But ... the sophisticated part is a must. I would never go so far as to say all ESTPs are cool, by any means. But when they hit it, they hit it spot on.

All ESTPs online that I've seen are really cool. Succinct and awesome. When I think ESTP, "cool" is actually one of the first words that come to mind.

I am. I play people and gather power while most of you sorry sacks are too socially inept to handle one-on-one conversation.

So, by being influential an likable even though I'm a dick, I am " the cool cat"

I voted for INTJ not due to personal bias, but for other reasons for which I can not disclose.

I'm with Kisai on this one, ENTPs win. INTJs are too serious to be the coolest cats.

In my experience, ENTP are the "coolest"

They're smart enough to be interesting, and are talkers, but they don't give much of a fuck about what you think about them.
