English as a second language (nothing to do with literature and stuff). So is that "English" or "Forgen language"?

Biology/English but I can't vote twice.

Also, why is medical separate from biology?

English.

But really more interested in effectively communicating ideas, regardless of the particular language.

History, history, history and history.

But why is bio considered a soft science and physics a hard one? I would classify both of them as hard sciences, but bio as a life science and physics as a physical science. It's not like a "social science" like anthropology or something.

was history & law back in high school. didn't think i'd make a living with a humanities degree so i went for science. now it's probably biology. btw, i'm gonna be making a living off of my most hated subject, chemistry.

I would assume it's because it isn't absolute and can have its theories changed.

Math is absolute, and physics is based on math, so physics must be the same throughout the universe.

Biology is based on many factors that are specific. We don't get the same exact organism function the same as life on some other planet. But we could expect physics to be. So if we went to Titan, we probably wouldn't see salmon and seals, but we can be 100% sure that we'd still feel the force of gravity and kinetic energy with the exact same formulas as on earth.

"Hard" doesn't refer to hard in terms of difficulty. And neither does "soft. Hard subjects are those that absolutely cannot change. Soft ones are those that can change. Difficult is not a factor in determining this. However, a hard subject is usually difficult, while soft subjects can range from very easy to just as difficult as physics (eg-biology, ecology, botany). That's probably where the misinterpretation that "soft" means "easy" comes from.

That's just what I think. I didn't google it.

You would like the "History of Natural Art".

I like psychology, and biology (neuroscience + genetics) the best. I like the combinations of them better (cognitive neuroscience and behavioural genetics). Soft sciences I guess?

Physics would be my next favourite.

Honestly, I think I liked P.E. or recess best. (Ah! that just reminded me of that cartoon "Recess." I liked that too!

)
I was smart enough and was considered studious. But I had the most fun playing outside. Kickball was a favorite. And still would be, if anyone would play with me.

Oh I'll add that my brain had fun with science, writing, reading, and art. And math while it was extremely basic. Mental math racing was my thing. History and government were subjects I could hae gone without. (Though now I can appreciate them a little more)

(Military) history.

Oh, I would've loved that.

Sadly, we barely made it through the essentials. First teacher only taught us the first half of the curriculum, second one had to make up for it, third one broke something important and didn't show up for six months.

I was mostly joking when choosing "I hate all of them" but school just kills the motivation to learn anything for me.

At school, it was, in this order:

[x] English (foreign language for me though)
[x] Ethics (though it was sadly only part of religion class)
[x] other foreign languages
[x] Biology, especially when it was [x] Medical

1. Computer science or Biology
2. History and political science (twas the environment of my high school)
3. Math, the most intriguing subject because it's the most unknown to me. I have realized time and time again that I'm almost completely incompetent at writing proofs. It's quite fascinating.

Astronomy, physics, geology, physical chemistry and computer programming.
English (Second language) was my highest scoring subject though.
