I found this site when I was researching various articles on employee engagement. It looks like it has a lot of good resources so I'm looking forward to reading (a lot!).

Oh, and I'm ISTP (I see it's there in my little profile area). I'm in my early 50's, and I'm working on an initiative to help my unit become more engaged and improve communications. We are in the midst of looking at a number of different assessment tools to ascertain individual communication styles and other drivers that will help us to understand each other and adapt various approaches to help improve the atmosphere around here LOL.

Why not use the Myer Briggs test & discuss the results?

Welcome! I'm sure you'll fit right in.

If you've come to learn how INTJs communicate (or I think more accurately don't communicate) then you've come to the right place.

Come on in, just watch out for the padded cells.
You don't want to go in there.

Ha - thanks - yes Myers Briggs is one of them, but they are looking at others as well to reveal things like, what career is a best fit for you. There are a number of people who believe they are mismatched for the job they're in and that their skill set would be more effective in another part of the organization.

Then, there are others who just do the "me+work=paycheque" type formula and feel that's a good fit, skill set be darned.
