7/9. Since there's no time limit, we should have all gotten 9/9.
My method was to find an easy to remember sequence of four shapes (including orientation.) Once you find the one that cannot have that sequence, you've found the one that doesn't match. If they all have that sequence, the difference has to be the parity or orientation of the two other pieces. I think I missed two because I did it really quickly and could have easily made trivial errors. If I were to do this for work, I would have transposed the objects on paper since there's no time limit. That would have improved the accuracy. |

6/9 Okay considering I got bored and guessed on 3 of them. Wonder if I would've gotten all 9 if I actually tried on those ones...

#6 was SO HARD!!! I consider myself more of a logical person than a 3D visualizer, although I know I am still capable of visualizing a lot more 3D shapes and orientations than most people (I think the logic part of me actually comes into play for that). My brain simply does not do well with multiple consecutive rotations, flips, rules, etc. at the same time, which makes me bad at things like inductive logic, decimal included addition/subtraction/multiplication/division in my head, playing the guitar (where you have to keep in mind what string and fret you're playing on and such), and even multitasking in RTS gaming to a certain extent. In general I have been able to master handling a LOT of repetitive smaller-scale thought processes though, including deductive logic, creating formulas and algorithms, playing piano, and managing lots of conversations, projects, games, etc. all at the same "time" (in the same 10 minutes). That's my speculation at least. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

I should have rechecked my choices. |

9/9. Problem 6 was hard, the rest straightforward. The later problems also had some bolded edges. I don't know if that is intentional or not, but I didn't use them.
I planned to use the same method masterpeach used, but then I took the lazy route and just used the same method Hoster used (except for problem 6). |

Yikes - I can't do this. When I randomly guessed, I got 2, and when I tried to do them myself, I got 1. I may not be an INTJ, though. I better start doing mental exercises...
