If I start ignoring you mid-sentence, it's because an idea popped into my head and I'm busy chasing it.

If I start ignoring you mid-sentence, it's probably because you're boring my tits off and I've instead started speculating how long will it take before that flake of dandruff that you have dangling in your hair falls into your coffee...

I don't like hearing my phone ring between 9pm and 9am; if you are calling at such gawd awful hours, you'd best be dying or in labor, all other matters can wait til morning.

(Not sure if this is an INTJ trait or if it's just me)
Stop telling me to calm down and treating me like I'm an active time-bomb. I AM calm. However, you TELLING me to calm down is making me LESS calm.

To Co-workers:

Don't ask me to go to lunch with you. Just don't. I prefer eating my own lunch quietly at my desk while reading on the internet, in order to re-charge for the afternoon.

If I say "no thanks" when you ask, it doesn't mean I hate you, it just means I don't want go. If that ever changes, I'll let you know. In the meantime, QUIT ASKING.

I think I've finally gotten everyone in my work group trained to not ask me... it only took about 5 years! lol

Until the newest dumb ass doesn't believe the regulars, and starts the process all over again.

-I wish people would realize that I don't WANT to go partying and drinking and smoking pot with them.
-I wish people would stop trying to drag me into their drama, because honestly, unless it revolves around a death or some other life-altering event, I don't care, and neither will you in a few days.

Story of my life.

I could not agree more with this entire post, but especially "I don't care, and neither will you in a few days"!!! HA! So true.

And so many have commented on here about the facial expression - I thought I was the only one who had to deal with that, everywhere! So sick of hearing, "Smile"

Not constantly being around and talking with people every waking moment does not make me anti-social or even asocial for that matter. I have never had a problem talking with anyone, be it a complete stranger or someone I've known for years, if they actually have something to talk about that sparks my interest.

I want you to succeed - my criticism is so you can improve. If I didn't care about you, I wouldn't talk to you at all.

I wish I knew how to talk about the trivial stuff you find meaningful. I am sorry that I don't know how to make you comfortable with my silences. It is my failure. I will try to be accepting of your failures in return. (Some days this is hard.)

It is important to make things better - please try with me. If you don't, I can't respect you.

Act with integrity or go home. There is no compromise.

The greatest favor you can show me is to teach me something.

My standards are not harsh, they are simply what the standards should be. Keep trying.

This doesn't make any sense.

INTJ isn't a fashion statement you can choose. It means something else entirely - its talking about a part of who you are rather than a superficial label. Although it doesn't tell you everything about a person, nothing ever does, so what?

I rarely smile, but for heaven's sake talking to my crush is not my reason AT ALL to giggle like a little girl. Gosh, okay, I'll let you see what I'm giggling at.

I wish people knew there is a difference between being confident and arrogant. That would be a good start.

Stop telling me to stop analyzing things and arguing "just because I want to start an argument." I would never waste my energy arguing something I thought was useless to argue. I just happen to argue about a lot of things that I think need to be argued.

If you are explaining a concept to me or telling a story- get to the point. I can see where you are going with it pretty much as soon as you start talking. If you go on and on- I will stop you and tell you that I'm not stupid and I know what you mean- probably better than you do yourself.

I don't give a crap about social drama or gossip.

Is this normal? My INTJ loves hearing about my friends' secrets (they tell me, I tell him, he's like taking it to the bank vault).

You, rolling your eyes at me is not a power play. It's just you being petulant. You might want to master more subtle and effective ways of disagreeing with me.

I don't txt you back because I want you to give up txting me.

The fact I have interests that differ to yours does not make me weird. The fact your interests are the same as all your friends is not irrefutable proof of my weirdness.

What better form of raw fascinating social data?
