Life is as beautiful as you wish to make it. Stop and smell the roses every now and then.
Go to an opera...climb a mountain and enjoy the view...take time out to enjoy what is around you.

and then again....sometimes it can be crappy. But then you just look ahead to the good times again.

It's beautiful in its complexity and absurdity. The mechanism is hellish.

It's all about mind-control and how strong one's mind is.

Life is a bitch. And you can **** that bitch if you want to. Life is as hard as you want it to be. You want money? work hard and use your brains.

Life is beautiful...when you can see how ugly it is...the more ugly the moments, the more bright the beauty becomes.

I recall living in a state of depression for an entire summer. I received some news that changed my life and I remember standing in the parking lot of my building...reading the news in letter form...and suddenly the sky was the bluest I'd ever seen it; I could smell the pine trees; everything seemed to glow. It was intense. It was beautiful. I think what made it beautiful was the intensity of the depression prior to its release on me.

Acknowledging that there is more to life than human society (plants, animals, etc), I say yes life is beautiful. If, however, you mean life as many experience it (stuck within society) then I say life is a bitch.

Answered "other". It's as beautiful as your delusions will allow you to think it is.

there are so many things that we miss. so many details that go unnoticed.
even keeping physics aside, there are still so many "aesthetics" to take a notice of.

It's only delusional if such a perception is based off of inaccuracies.

I picked "maybe". Some days it definitely is, while others it fells like it couldn't be further from it.

I was going to say yes to 'beautiful', but then the actual poll option said 'wonderful.' So I said 'maybe.'

Life is very beautiful, including death--from a strictly aesthetic point of view.

This is how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

It is indeed beautiful, as long as I'm able to kill my time with my to-do lists.

Try living in hatred. It sucks. Everything you do and everything you see sucks.

Life* is beautiful when you love and be loved and when society does not hinder your search for happiness.

* I'm talking about the life of humans (excluding babies because they're not aware of life.)

I guess life can be beautiful if you'll just embrace it along with all its flaws.

beauty is relative and personally I find beauty even in the ugliest places so it is also a perspective.

it appears that most, if not everyone, responding to the question are taking it to mean "the experience of life"...
