You either understand the concept completely or not at all.

when you do so much at work that is not required of your job description, that, eventually, you end up doing what you want , when you want to.

When you make outlines of all the things you want to do, learn, accomplish, acquire in life. When you make an outline of all your outlines.

When you get a new piece of furniture/appliance, or other big what-have-you, and you put it perfectly into place before anyone else sees, and then leave for long enough for people to notice and the hub-bub can die down, in hopes that just possibly, you won't have to tolerate the grandeur of inane and usually misplaced appreciation/disapproval. "I came, I conquered, I vanished."

You know you're an INTJ when you support the child catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

You know you're an INTJ when your thoughts are worth more than a penny and you always put in more than your two cents worth.

When you haven't been out to socialize for weeks, and the only person who didn't notice was you.

All the time, and not just in class either. I have plans for every sort of random situation in the most random places. I think it's actually quite useful though, because running through scenarios in your head prepares you mentally prepared if anything were to happen. Granted, preparing for a zombie attack isn't as useful as preparing for a thief on the subway, but hey, the former is moderately more entertaining. |

*your lair is getting closer and closer to looking like a repository for loads of old academic shit (the semester is almost over!)
*you cannot sleep because there is too much to do *you've been accepted into a prestigious university and feel profound relief because you actually thought you might have nowhere to go this fall (and your friends think you are CRAZY for even having these thoughts). |

You really have to think hard to determine whether what you're about to say is offensive before you say it.

When you do a job well, because it's a job, and that's one does when doing a job... but most things personal can wait and require so much overthinking, a lot of it taking months/years to accomplish.
... or when you're given a choice between A and B. Both plausible options. And you think about either/or for a weeks time. And then subconsciously your brain spontaneously *ticks* and makes the choice for you, and you're finally confident in your decision. Sometimes it warrants the wait, but sometimes you could slap yourself for how apparently much better that decision was in the first place. |

when you just start conversing less overall, because it's easier than "pre-editing" all you say in your mind to avoid offense to anyone around you.

when a friend at a party asks you : 'I wonder if N.N. is here' and you know the answer and the exact whereabouts of that person, even though you have no interest in them,
when you get impatient while waiting for the end of the sentence, whose point you understood after the first few words |
