I love science. Especially Chemistry and Biology. Science is just something to think about on rainy days. And sunny days, too.

I've always loved math and English. I used them both excessively as my private creative outlets in high school.

Science and I have never gotten along.

As a junior in college, I find the most satisfaction in the hard sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.). In the hard sciences, I can reach a concrete, definite answer. I also love the soft sciences (psychology, sociology, etc.) and humanities.

My favorite subject is biology, and if you want to be specific, botany. I have a fascination with the internal systems(the ease at which we manipulate them also entices me).

Math: Highly entertaining, but just not my speciality.
Science: Ditto
History: Personal favorite
Social Studies: Ditto
English: Burn, English, BURN.
Art: It's actually my best subject, but I can't seem to like it much.
Other: PE has to die.

Science and Computer have been my two favorite subjects at school. I've also enjoyed Math and English but I can definitely bring out my INTJ mindset when it comes to Science (especially Chemistry and Physics!), especially during Laboratory Experiments (they are fun!) and Computer (HTML, Visual Basics and Flash), particularly practical exams and practical quizzes.

I like subjects which could help me create something that is tangible, in two words: experience and creativity. I don't like subjects that focuses too much on the mental capacity of a person (CALCULUS IS ONE OF THEM), like hello we have limitations too!

Sorry to say this but P.E. is fun too. (Rolling On the Floor Laughing My Ass Off)

Play again.

Any course that has an enthusiastic teacher who's good at explaining things. I'm pretty happy with taking in any knowledge so long as it's served on the right kind of platter. If I don't get to choose my teacher:

- Math and anything language-related have traditionally been my best subjects. English fell far behind for a while -- I didn't like having to study a text that didn't pique my interest -- but it's become more palatable as of late.
- I used to love Art when I was little, but we got into a fight growing up, and we've never fully reconciled.
- I used to LOVE programming. I haven't done it in ages.
- Geography and I shall never be friends. I refuse. The same goes for most Social Sciences. I'm only starting to get a taste for them now.
- I study Biology, but I'm so-so about it. I avoid the practical aspect and the memorization aspect, but I like the "storytime" aspect ("This is the story of how coffee works on the molecular level!").

English and science--but English definitely wins. (Though I will say that I'd like it a lot more if my teacher wasn't such a -insert multiple four-letter words- bitch.

I used to love math. Now I can't stand it. I can't stand history either--who bloody cares about those ancient guys decomposing into worm food???

Another vote for band and music classes.
Also enjoyed foreign language, history, and any science course which involved the remembering of information.... none of that equation-solving stuff for me, thank you.

I'm sorry, but it's really amusing how a guy with Isaac Newton as an avatar said "none of that equation-solving stuff for me, thank you"... (rolls on the floor laughing)

Algebra, calc, and geometry. They were easy and fun. But I didn't realize I had dyslexia then, so when I copied test problems I often reversed the -/+ i.e. trig.

Math in high school. The INTJ was as least part of that.

40 years later I've still got an itch in that direction. Due to my interest in ZPE/FE and the limited human understanding we call 'the laws of physics' I came across what's called Quaternion Math.

If I was independently wealthy I'd be immersed in that direction.

Art was quite a problem to me... I wanted to draw futurist themes and styles while the teacher persecuted me with her baroque mindset!

I remember an art class where we had to take an ordinary object (electric beaters in this case) and paint them as something else. I had an avid love of astronomy and transformed my object into a spacecraft - only it was 2D in the middle (where the beater handle was) and the rest was 3D. Not only did my art teacher find this ridiculous and made me paint in pink curtains (!!!) to "fix" my mistake, she also declared I had too many stars in the background and proceeded to paint half of them out!

Meanwhile I always loved English because it allowed me to express myself - which is something I've not always been very good at. I struggled a lot with maths and science which I think had a lot to do with having gone to so many different schools and not having been able to learn the basics of these when I was young. As a result I really struggled until I was much older and figured it out on my own. Now I find the logic of maths and science very satisfying.

Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.

You are either a masochist or a nerd. Or a both.

I think my current favourite is pharmacology, but that's because I understand what's going on. Back in high school I have to give hands up to quantum mechanics, it was bloody fun! I love anything physics.

Despite the even more blatant religious propaganda throughout and often replacing it, 'science. Would you believe English was always my best subject?

Additionally, I quite enjoyed "conceptual physics". I read our textbook within the first few weeks and would often challenge the teacher with things that were difficult to answer.
But, add math to it, and things got a little messy.

I have likes in most subjects. I appreciate and like learning biology and physics to some degree, but by no means do I consider myself a scientist. I do not think I have the patients to carry out experiments, but I do think it's a beautiful thing to learn. HATE chemistry, though I understand it's importance to both fields. Chemistry in high school made me feel like a robot, memorizing facts and regurgitating them out. We were always withheld from certain information because "we weren't ready to learn it yet." I hate that mentality. I have never hated a subject more.

Most fun, enjoyable subject was Eng literature. Mostly because you really have to have a good understanding of other subjects in the humanities to assess stories critically. Lots of thinking, which I loved.

edit: AH ALMOST FORGOT. Philosophy. Greatest subject ever (from metaphysics, to epistemology, to ethics, to political philosophy). I think this is the reason I do well in most subjects (except phys. ed. How can philosophy get me a good grade in gym class in elementary school?! It can't. It's the only defect in the subject.). Philosophy is the mother of all subjects.

**lol patience...

Anyway, it was Physics. I was sooooo pissed off that my school didn't offer Physics II, so I had to take Biochem (a lot of wannabe premeds.)
