Hello everyone. My name is Danny. I don't know what else to say but, feel free to ask me any questions. Or if you have discovered something interesting recently, I'd be glad to hear it.

Oh also speaking of "hear it" I am hard of hearing in my right ear. <-- Lil' known fact.

Oh and um... I found this place when I saw an episode of "The Big Bang Theory" for the first time yesterday. The word neurotic was used towards the Indian character in the show. I looked it up on Wikipedia and followed the links of things that I didn't fully understand. Two of these things were "Apathy" and another was "Learned Helplessness". I started going through more links in these articles as well and I kept branching and reading about personality types. First I was reading up on schizoid and noticed that I think almost exactly like one. Then I wanted to take a personality test to see how close the results can get to how I actually am. It was pretty spot on. INTJ it is. Wasn't very long before I wanted to know more about INTJ's and I found this place full of like-thinkers.

I was born that way. And my fraternal twin was born with damaged vision.

I'm sorry about your brother's and your condition. I hope I'm not being too intrusive, but what was the cause of both your conditions? Genetics? Just curious.

There is nothing to be sorry about. My bro's vision is definitely the least desirable of the two sensory problems imo. And having to have others repeat themselves to me occasionally really hasn't put too much of an impact on my life (though my brother claims that's why I can filter out my surroundings so easily) I don't know of the causes. Never really thought about it all that much. Probably just mere coincidence perhaps.

^^Yes! Kelly doesn't know her numeral, either!

But this doesn't have to be the end of the story... No, no, no!

JMD Industries provides TWO ways for Forum members to obtain their numeral!

hi Danny, i'm Bevan (that's really my name)...i am stone deaf in my right ear because my father was a violent sociopath, but he's dead now (natural causes) and i'm still living...i use a cross hearing aid...it's a microphone for the dead ear with a receiver in the good ear...it's not the same as natural hearing (which i can remember having), but digital technology gives me depth and dimensionality, and it's a relief not to always be asking people to repeat themselves...it's a relief for them, too

comedy team 'therrirl and Monte,' and all their twisted sidekicks, crack me up! i check in with them when i need a good laugh
