For whatever reason they changed their ways and you get along well. Could you do it? Would you?

Probably not. And I don't think people can change, they only become better at concealing their problems.

Worked out just fine, we parted ways as friends and still talk on occasion.

I could and would do it. I have no moral objection to voluntary prostitution. Certainly, I would be worried about the higher risk of STD's but I would not be ashamed to ask if they shared their history. I'm also worried about negative lifestyles associated with prostitution but then it's not the prostitution I would be worried about.

Don't see why not. I might even consider dating a still-active prostitute under the right circumstances.

One of the things that I was initially worried about was STD's, so we talked about it and we both went and had the tests done. Oddly enough that is how she put her self through college, now she works as a councilor for abused women.

I'm inclined to say: Probably not.
But I can imagine certain personality characteristics that would make me ignore that... I think its a matter of how their life choices have changed them.

I've been going out with one right now (not former but current). She's much older and we don't plan on taking each other seriously. We've had some intimate moments together but I never slept with her (and perhaps never will). Even if she change her ways, I don't think we'll make a good couple.

It's always fun to listen to these INTJ conversations and go, "OMGosh, you have a system for this too?"

Former, current. If I'm very much into someone, I don't see this being a deterrent.

Nope.

What if it comes to the point where you have to pay them to make them go away ?

I would actually PREFER to date a prostitute/porn actress/webcam girl.

It seems like they would be over all the usual bullshit that comes with most women from the get-go.

I would be assured that they were, at the barest of minimums, comfortable with sex, and there would be an increased chance of them enjoying it more as well.

Even if they were "normal", still, the profession would erase many of the basic, hard-wired notions from my religious brainwashing about women always hating sex.

I really wish I knew a reliable way of meeting these kinds of women =/

I have no idea. Depends on the girl. Other factors are involved.

Sure. No problem. Her former work wouldn't bother me at all.

Not a problem...what's relevant is what we have together now, not what her "previous life" was.

Would depend on what in their life has changed. Certainly not a current prostitute. That's just asking for trouble.

I really can't see myself and a girl who does porn or prostitution full time as a primary source of income together. Not to say that it wouldn't ever happen but I find that most of the people who get involved in those things would just really clash with me personality wise. Also I like and believe in the idea of exclusivity when it comes to sexual intimacy and if she were active in her job it would be an issue for me and not really the relationship I want.

Although if it was some past thing and I liked her personality I'd probably not really care.

Uhhhhh, I kind of think there would be more bullshit involved. Most people only really turn to prostitution/porn as a primary source of income as a last resort. She'll probably be all over the usual bullshit when it comes to sex but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that they're probably be a ton of 'other' bullshit and issues to deal with.

You could just do something a little less extreme and find a girl who doesn't think sex and physical pleasure is teh devil. You don't have to find a prostitute to find that attitude. Women don't just come as either virgin princesses or prostitutes.

I really wish I knew a reliable way of meeting these kinds of women =/

Just go to your local red light district and drive around till you see one standing on a street corner. The problem is not finding them but figuring out if they are actually sincere or not or just using you for money.

Damn right we do. It's all part of the giant cross-collaborative INTJ project to create an instructional manual for Women to systematically explain them. It's incomplete as of yet but we've got volume one done:

I have. Was no problem, she had a different job while we were together. It didn't end well though, but it had nothing to do with her former job. Just emotional conflict and in the end the geographic distance between us broke it.

If she's normal...and can shed her past...resume a normal life...where the past doesn't come up to haunt us sure...

I would like to believe that pulling a girl out of the 'the life' will gain some gratitude from more then a few chicks that did what they did to survive, and are more then willing to demonstrate their gratitude with their developed skill set.

I think you also have to differentiate between the various types of prostitutes. At the low end there are streetwalkers who give BJs for $20, and at the high end there are very well cultured companions for the economic elite who might cost $5000 a night (and sex might not even be a big part of the time spent together).

As for male prostitutes... I really don't know enough about them to make a judgement, but instinct tells me there probably aren't very many high class hetero ones.

+1...I put that down prior to editing...yeah...the streetwalker that fed a drug habit vs a girl that you pulled out of brother at 18 in SE Asia that worked to survive, now a great housewife...I think also of all these web cam porn star college girls.....

As a guy for me it just comes down to her being normal, and if her past will follow us around.
