I've been working out 5-6 days/week for the last 5 years. I love the way exercise affects my body - I feel stronger, more mentally alert, more energetic, less stressed out...

This but it has only been two and a half years for me so far. I also like to switch up my routines from time to time, it gets really boring really fast otherwise.

Working out has been an excellent way to center the natural tendency towards violence that I have also.

Signed up for the Spartan Sprint in Malibu this year; don't plan on winning, but I doubt it will pose much of a challenge to me.

I used to walk 6-12 km every day before. But right now I'm ashamed of how little I move. I don't feel comfortable working out among other campus people. But in a couple a weeks I will start working again, which means 8-14 hours of walking/half-running/climbing stairs/lifting tables, plates, etc, a day. I long for it!

Used to do aerobics, a bit of boxing and rowing on machine, but can't fit the machine in my apartment, so I bought

. Hurts like monkeys the first time! Apparently you're supposed to use it for about five minutes (not a full hour) the first times...

As for nutrition, I count calories on a regular basis to keep track of my weight.

New to these forums, so first off, hello.

Yeah, I do some physical training, but not extremely much. I run quite a bit, as well as lifting some weights on occasion.

I run 30 minutes a day and do Jillian Michael videos at home. :s Been going strong for seven weeks. Before that, I would have never ever considered running/exercising. In fact, I HATED it, but I'm kind of addicted now. (: Running keeps me grounded.

I run/bike when the weather's nice. I lose interest once it starts getting cold out, even though I could go to the weight room at my apartment complex. Been that way for most of my life.

I'm trying to convince myself to go to the weight room more so I can build up my upper-body muscles.

My diet is terrible though, so probably not worth the effort unless I change that.
