"Yes, that's right, good job, Billie, the nice way to meet somebody new is to bite their nose."

"Jill, when meeting someone new, it is always in common courtesy to correct their grammar and possibly even their diction if it sounds unintelligent."

Wait... You're not supposed to do that?

"doesn't she look pretty in that skirt? You know, 'prostitute' is a big word for 'really pretty princess'... why don't you go tell her how pretty a princess she looks like?"

You could try to teach them that they are "innocent"... but they already know that's not true.

my favorite is teaching them that there is a monster that lives in the sewer and it likes to come up the toilet and grab little kids by the butt and pull them under never to be seen again. and there is one that lives under the bed but it only comes out if you are asleep...............my brothers wife hates me, my sister isn't amused either.

Simultaneously tell them to not lie, but also tell them to never say anything mean.

But I guess that's already a common practice

That there are two magical-all-seeing-old-white-guys... they both have beards... and they are both watching you; night and day; everyday; to see if what you are doing is good or bad.

One lives at the North Pole: the other lives somewhere up in the sky, but it isn't the sky you see, it's what we call "the heavens."

If the guy at the North Pole sees you doing bad things, he won't bring you any presents on christmas morning.

If the guy in the sky sees you doing bad things - or if you don't believe in him - after you die, he sends you to a really nasty place where you suffer and are in pain - forever!

What could be odder than that?

i had my child believing for awhile that moms actually did have eyes in the backs of their heads so they always knew what their kids were up to.
