Would you allow me to fly you in and allow me to have a date with you?

I want to meet a nice girl and most of the girls I have met are terrible. Absolute rubbish!

It would be cool to meet a woman without extreme emotional needs. We could just coexist. I could maybe even count on you being rational?

I don't think it's silly. It would likely be a mutually beneficial exchange. If only because the female got a free plane trip and I got to have a social experiment.

maybe the lady in question is terrified of airplanes, or defying gravity... i don't think you've really thought this through.

Would you prefer train service? And me getting to know you first?

No. Being rich does not equate to being happy or worthy of ones time. There is a lot more to be considered than just money.

Absolutely valid. However, my wealth would enable the long distance travel and a possible relocation if both parties deemed it desirable.

Nope. If you "was" rich, you probably wouldn't be rational. Not that it actually matters to me, but most rich guys are dicks anyway. They seem to think money can buy everything and that they can get away with anything. Not good.

If you are interested why don't you take the flight to go meet her.

Even if my wealth was earned through the implementation of a carefully crafted, creative venture that originated directly from my dreams?

Since I would be funding the flight one way or another, I feel like I would have done my 50 percent of that bargain.

Good point, but you're most likely dealing with a highly independent and possibly successful INTJ who might consider this a fishy approach. Too many psychos around and as a saying says, "nothing is free". Traveling abroad for a date with an unknown individual is simply stupid, even if there was online communication because there is no guaranteed the person on the other end truly is who they say they are.

I think many would agree that a meeting within a familiar surrounding to the women you wish to meet is important first. For me at least, unless I have met you face to face within my locale or at least in the same country multiple times I would in no way accept to travel blind folded. And just because we met it doesn't mean I would travel abroad. As I mentioned before, money is of no importance.... There are more important aspects to consider. But then again, that is my way of thinking. Someone else might be willing to take the risk.

I'd go for it. It's a date, not a life sentence. Although, since I don't know who you are, I'd make sure everything stays in a public place... you know.

Well if that is the case, no thank you. Better luck buying someone else. If I thought you were interesting enough I would pay my own way to see you.

Well first of all you'd better offer a round trip ticket...

What if we paid for our own flights, and then met halfway?

Though, on second thought, I might be willing to travel if I felt like there was a good possibility of love...

If you're going to experiment - try rentafriend.

Also, you might want to make it sound more interesting - you could ask Dru there to go on a holiday cruise with you

Just the phrase "holiday cruise" is good enough for me...

you: automatically disqualified...

I'm not saying it couldn't be done, but it would take a remarkably clever individual to fool me into loving them while they only do it for a financial cause. I'm not terribly needy so I can't be won through my desperation.

Well, I've flown to girls before. However I knew them before I flew out(in real life) and they liked me enough to take a few days of work to show me around.

(Adding another point to the many already valid points..)

Paying for other people is tricky, most decent people feel uncomfortable with that arrangement. Regardless of intent, it comes off as a power/superiority move.

The creation of this thread seems to belie your claim. Just saying.
