An example is the MediEvil soundtrack. If anyone else hasn't listened, try this out and follow all the links from there if you're interested.

I agree with you regarding Medievil's soundtrack. I have fond memories of that game. In fact the only reason I bought a PSP was because I wanted to experience it after I was not able to finish the original PS game. I played it using a high-quality noise-cancelling, bass-pounding earphones and the sound experience was simply unparalled.

Nice.

I didn't finish it as a kid since my father use to own the playstation, never got around too often. So I'm completing it atm. It's very surreal and the way the NPs talk is quite haunting (the goat head statues). Playing the next few will be very enjoyable as well, most likely.

If you PM me privately, I can send a few of the songs of the soundtrack (albeit it isn't ressurection).

Please keep the thread going so it doesn't pass away too soon and you get the benefit of seeing great music.

Cheers

I've just seen Super 8 and the the scene featuring a train being derailed is one of the most powerful scores I've ever heard in a motion picture.

Personally, these songs touch me very deeply.
I think it's the most powerful works of Max Richter.
Enjoy.

Quid Sum Miser. It's like listening to all of your nightmares at once.

Highlights at 1:15 and 2:20.

Make sure the volume is right up!

These are great suggestions, thanks all!

For Hope:
Handel - Adagio for Strings (Best. Piece. Ever.)
Do You Hear the People Sing? From Les Miserables

Happiness:
Hearts Burst Into Fire - Bullet for my Valentine
Quiet - This Will Destroy You
I Believe in Your Victory - This Will Destroy You

For Loss:
My Immortal - Evanescence
Gortoz a ran - J'attends (Black Hawk Down theme)

Breakups:
Last to Know - Three Days Grace

Anger:
Do You Remember Me? - Apocalyptica
I Hate Everything About You - Three Days Grace

Humanity/Nihilistic
Dance with the Devil - Immortal Technique

Personal:
Hell is for Children - Pat Benetar
Someone Who Cares - Three Days Grace
S.O.S (Anything but Love) - Apocalyptica

"Understanding" by Evanescence has to be one of the best for anybody who has ever suffered from trauma.
