Clean space is very important for me. If I'm in a mess I can't feel good at all. Sometimes there is a mess around, but no longer than 3 days.

I like to keep my place spotless, but having a stoner roommate puts a big halt to that.

I'm tempted but my friends aren't that uptight. Nix that and here's about where I'd be ... yup.

I don't know how to answer to the poll:

My apartment is always clean enough to have guests over. If the people I know have problem with my tidiness, it's there problem. If they won't accept me as a friend because of something like that, they aren't worth of my attention. Sometimes my apartment is messy, but I don't feel ashamed - there's always a good reason for it and I'll get it fixed asap. It's always so messy that my mother wants to cry when she sees it - I think she has never visited me and not cleaned something as soon as turn my back. And even if my apartmens is in 'disaster state' I'd never want help publicly.

If this was supposed to be fun, I'm sorry I missed the joke.

It's clean enough. I probably don't dust as often as I should considering how incredibly dusty it is in downtown san diego. Stuff is generally in it's place, though.

I really don't care as long as I can walk around easily and not injure myself. Of course, my highly "J" and organized family feels otherwise. I prefer to focus my time on things that really matter, not cleaning.

I suppose it's clean enough to have guests over, but I would prefer it to be spotless if I was having company coming.

I clean every week. I get pretty anal about sloppyiness/messiness since a couple of my ex's were total slobs.

My house is clean. I cleaned/organized yesterday and I try to keep it that way. My mood is directly impacted my the state of my environment. Crazy House = Crazy Lady.

Where is the option for my house is a total mess and I am ok with that? If that is possible, I don't know.

I can't stand messiness, it gives me headache.

I try to keep my apartment as clean and fresh-smelling as possible. Visitors are always welcome.

Indeed. I hate it when people take it upon themselves to clean up my things. "It's not messy; I know exactly where everything is!"

My house is gross. It's cluttered and has to much traffic through it. We're moving this weekend and we're determined to change our filthy ways and start clean. Me and my boyfriend are equally filthy.

My home is cluttered. My wife and I have four kids 7 and under. My wife does a lot to clean. I do dishes, pick up living room, clear table, take out trash and do kids baths. She does this and more. Still, our house is more often cluttered than not. That is the price we pay for having kids.

Spotless except for my son's room. That's his place to ENT-Pe at his leisure. I will admit to invading his room when he's with his father (50% of the time), to ensure that there's no food left behind.

Currently it's a mess. Ninety percent of the blame goes to my daughter and my kitten. My daughter leaves things all over the place and then my kitten scatters them playing with them. But I also have to wash 78 dirty dishes and clean the bathroom, and tidy my own bedroom. I haven't done a full-out tidying of my place in about 4 months.

It's pretty clean, if I invited guests over I'd just have to put away my watercolours and paintbrushes which are currently covering my living room table. Other than that though it's not bad.

congratulations nem. my place is cyclicly clean. generally it's clean enough, but there is cat hair and dust... sometimes I need to make it spotless. either because i need manual labor therapy or because I am procrastinating. Right now, I am on a manual labor therapy kick--so the place is on its way to spotless.

It's clean enough. Good enough to have guests anytime. Until recently there was some clutter, and my roommate is all "everything must be spotless all the time" so now it's really nice. My room is a mess though... I don't give a shit.

Our place is not bad, but not perfect. I don't seem to find enough time on the day and/or week to address everything. There are many changes I began which I've not been able to fully complete.

My SO is a neat freak, so he is not too happy right now. I like everything organize too, but with a 7 year old around and with all the modifications pending, is simply not the way we would like it to be. I could use two weeks to focus only on the house, but that is not happening. Can't afford it right now.

I would love for it to be in a good shape to invite people over, but not right now. We are however, working on it.
