Ahhh, it's always nice to remind the hate Obama crowd that seems to take up too much space in this sub forum that intj's(master minds) are actually significantly more left leaning than they'd like to think.

More socially left I think. That's also a trend with the younger generations.

It seems most people on this site that don't support Obama support Ron Paul. That seems understandable. Libertarians do make up a large voting block on here. It seems highly unlikely that Paul will actually win the Republican nomination though. The reality is his positions on things like abortion, gay marriage, drugs, illegal immigrants war.... are too far left to ever give him a shot at it. I would think then if he's not the nominee then given how many of his positions are closer to the left than the right I would think a significan number of Paul supporters would break toward Obama rather than whatever farther right Republican wins.

I don't think many Paul supports will break towards Obama. Obama is the established evilš with (former?) majority support. Add in economic impotence and the only real choice, besides Ron Paul, is for a fiscally conservative Republican. At least the religion crap will be cut out when it comes to actual laws. Let them sprout their bullshit--so long as the most important issue is resolved.

So of the people who say they'd like to vote paul for president, I'm curious what percentage of paul supporters will break for Obama if and when he does lose the nomination? Another thread had a poll where Obama got 50% of the vote and Paul go 38% so what happens if he's not in the equation?

Please feel free to explain why you broke the way you did.

I'm also curious. The real question in that hypothetical race, however, is how the social conservatives will break--or how many will even vote. Obama is virtually unthinkable but Ron Paul is still a libertarian. More than anything, I think inaction will decide this race. The GOP has a good shot at making Obama a 1-term president.

Given a choice between Ron Paul's and Barack Obama, I'm handing the keys to Ron Paul. Between Romney and Obama, Romney gets them. Between Gingrich and Obama... that's a tougher decision. Between Palin and Obama... the keys might as well be melted down to help pay off the debt.

1: I'm using that in the context of "the lesser of two evils".

Am I really seeing this?
Barack Obama at 52%? Seeing this on INTJf makes me lose hope for humanity.
Just... WHY? He LIED on pretty much every campaign promise he made. This is fucking disturbing.

You tend to forget that POTUS doesn't do his job alone, it's not because he wants a law to be passed that it'll. As for those who say he did nothing, well let's look at

(and they aren't even up to date). Btw, believing that a single man can fix the economy is foolish and demonstrate very little to no knowledge at all of Finance/Banking/Economical world.

As far as him being the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, ending the wars can be all up to him. He can have all of our guys and gals home in time for dinner if he wanted to. Funny how its all the promises in the world and he suddenly changes his mind as soon as he is in office. Not only are we still chugging away in Iraq and Afghanistan, he is expanding the fighting into Pakistan, Libya and supposedly Yemen. Oah, wait, I forgot, newsflash, now that the campaign season is getting started, Obama seems about to announce a withdrawal of 10k of the 100k troops who are stationed in Afghanistan. What a champion for world peace.

There. It took me about 2 minutes to look up that old speech. Unfortunately, I took that to the bank and voted for him, too bad the check bounced

. Do we need to drudge up all of his other lies and broken campaign promises? It seems that some people tend to easily suffer from a memory loss while listening to his latest and greatest use of flowery words during teleprompter read-aloud time.

No. Because I thought that President Barack Obama was being truthful in his promises to end the wars that Bush started, and that he would show the world that we desire to be at peace. Not only are we still in those countries, and I get to regularly watch in the Arab media how pissed off those people are because of it, but he has expanded the military adventurism into Pakistan, Libya and Yemen. How long do you think its going to take for American cities to start blowing up? Oah. Pardon me if I am mistaken, but aren't you Canadian? Well then, that's not your problem, keep meddling away in American politics encouraging a continuation of the exact same crap that Bush was doing.

As for the first question: Why are we fighting and opposing you? The answer is very simple:

(1) Because you attacked us and continue to attack us.

His demand of "Just leave us alone" really isn't that unreasonable. In fact, I would probably also be flying planes into buildings considering some of the very justifiable complaints that they have.
