I used to be an early bird when I was younger but ever since I graduated high school I've been a complete night owl. I can't remember the last time I went to sleep before 1am.

There is a certain serenity you get at night time that you can't get with the day. I want to start back working out though so I think I'm going to have to turn back into a early bird.

Night Owl, for the most part.

At one point in my life when I was particularly bent on losing weight, I programmed myself to rise at 5 am each morning to exercise. Pfft.

I'm a complete night owl.

The reason why I know for sure is that I was laid off from my 9-5 corporate job for 2 months and slowly started going to bed later and later everyday (and woke up later too). I wasn't going out that much either since everyone else was working, so it was on my own terms. near the end of my short vaca I was going to bed at 4-5 am and waking up at noonish

Complete night owl. Usually try to get to bed by 3am. Want to change it but, not really. Maybe the night owl option just suits the INTJ personality. You know, the dark lonely hours :-)

I'm an early bird. I can rarely stay up beyond 11pm-midnight without being completely shattered. And although I am tired when I wake up, the feeling of starting a brand new day around an hour after awakening is refreshing.

Night owl ... love the world when nature reigns and people have all gone to sleep ... the sounds and serenity is a beautiful contrast to the day, reminds you of the baseline of life.

Early bird, for whatever reason. Full of energy, super-productive, get up HOURS before work. But, at the end of the day, I'm lucky to stay awake. I don't try to fight it; just do my "stuff" in the a.m.

Early bird. Love the morning hours. Even in college, I wake up at 6:00 every day. On vacation I try not to go past 7:30 or 8:00. Have trouble staying up past 1 or 2.

Both - I get a lot of things done right as I wake up. Then I crash from 2-7 pm. Then I'm up again until 1 or 2 if I let myself.

Early bird. The earlier I am at work, the more I can accomplish without people being in my way. This summer, we are looking at 5:20 mornings.

Night owl. I am unapproachable the mornings where I do wake up early.

Any bird. Seriously. I go to sleep and wake up on my own preferences. I can go for about two days fine without any sleep. The third day I can think quite as well. I generally have to crash somewhere on the fourth day. With two perfectly good days not needing sleep (read as going two nights without sleep), that gives me plenty of time to adjust. I can stay awake until 6am and go to bed at 8pm if I feel like it one day and wake up at an entirely different schedule the next. I guess it's a mental thing. I like to see the early morning as the world wakes and I also like to see the moon and the stars out, so I switch it up a bit. *Shrug*

Omg same - though my ability to do this is wearing off a little, having lived like this for too many years
