What culture or society do you think is the most ESP? I would think Puerto Rico, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic. The most ISJ I think is Japan and Saudi Arabia.

I spent three months in Ghana, and most of them seemed ESFP's. Might not be true, but there definitely was an ESFP vibe going on there.

Possibly Oz or New Zealand. Britain perhaps? A nation full of pissheads passing the buck, taking no responsibility for their own actions, total resistance to new ideas and spending half of their lives in supermarkets buying gluttonous impulse junk.

America. Hands down. I've seen a lot of countries around the world and it's the most ESxP I've seen. Maybe except for Thailand.

I believe circumcision is a rite of passage in that country. Maybe it's because of Catholicism. Though the way they do it is very E. |

This is an absurd question. Every culture has every type. What you really mean by it is "Which shallow cultural stereotype can I pin to which shallow MBTI stereotype?"

So you at least agree that there are people in Philippine culture that are like that? I am merely describing the culture as an entity in and of itself, and it is not in any way a description of every individual within that culture. Perhaps you do not fit these general descriptions because you're INTJ. I have a question though: Does it irritate the living hell out of you that so many people in Philippine culture are diametrically opposite your personality?
It may touch a sensitive nerve, but it's not absurd. While it's true that individuals of all types exist within a culture, the culture itself develops a type of its own. As a result, the culture's type has at the very least an impact on the individual based on the individual's type. |

As much as I agree that you can't generalise a whole country to a simple type he did ask for specific cultures (albeit hard to prove by telling limited experiences and posting a music video). |

I agree that you can't generalize a whole country to a particular MBTI type, it can't be disputed that different cultures have as their general values and customs a preference for certain functions and attitudes over others. I listed Puerto Rico as an example, because having grown up around many of this culture on the mainland, and having decent amount of knowledge of their homeland, I can, based on empirical evidence, say that as a whole, Puerto Rican culture is very ESFP. Very in the moment, and very emotional. Looking ahead to the future (inferior Ni) is very poorly emphasized. In a nutshell, a "warm culture". Same goes for Dominican Republic and Brazil. |

What's the dominant Religion in those warm cultures you mentioned? Do you think there's a cause between the two, or is it merely a corollary? |

Catholiscm is the predominant religion in most Latin American and Southern European cultures, but in both regions religion is mainly a part of custom not a moral imperative. As for other warm cultures, such as the Middle East and Africa, Islam is the largest religion, followed by Christianity and tribal religions. These hold more of a sway on those culture's morals and behaviors. So yes religion, IMO, does a play a role in the general attitudes of different cultures. The warm cultures of the middle east and africa are more of SJ than SP, but definitely not NT (in general).
