I think Behind Blue Eyes by The Who is pretty INTJ, and I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas?
I'm supposed to find a song that describes me and Behind Blue Eyes is good, but just a tad bit, well, bitter.

is another one with some INTJ aspects, but it's not really any less bitter.

"Oh, Jesse Younger, you're a devil, not a man
Can you dare to treat your parents so unkind?
You have selfishly refused to live your life the way they planned
And you started going your own way and speaking your own mind"

@CaesAug: Huh, "Mastermind" is actually quite cool. I'd always written off Nas before, but I think I'll check out more of his stuff now.

@rbc: "Jesse Younger" is an excellent option, almost perfect.

Thanks!

Sex Pistols No Feelings

I've seen you iin the mirror
When the story began
And I fell in love with you.
I love yer mortal sin
Yer brains are locked away
But I love your company
I only ever leave you
When you got no money
I got no emotions for anybody else
You better understand
I'm in love with myself, myself
My beautiful self
A-no feelings
For anybody else
Hello and goodbye
And a run around
Sue You follow me around
Like a pretty pot of glue
I kick you in the head
You got nothing to say
Get out of the way 'cos I gotta get away
You never realise I take the piss out of you
You come up and see me
And I'll beat you black and blue okay
I'll send you away
I got no feelings
A-no feelings
For anybody else
(Except for myself My beautiful self dear)
There ain't no moonlight
After midnight I see you stupid people
Out looking for delight
Well I'm so happy
I'm feeling so tine
I'm watching all the rubbish
You're wasting my time
I look around your house
And there's nothing to steal
I kick you in the brains
When you get down to kneel and pray
You pray to your God
A-no feelings
For anybody else
Except for myself
Your daddy's gone away
Be back anotfher day
See his picture hanging on your wall

I vote for those.
Not much of a metal fan, sorry Shadizar, but I've heard better songs.

Behind Blue Eyes ain't bad either.

For the performance. Paul Simon calls it a song about loneliness - I've never thought of it that way.

Here's one that's silly and bitter all at the same time:

"I am alone" didn't give it away? "A fortress deep and mighty, that none may penetrate"? "I have my books and my poetry to protect me; I am shielded in my armor... Safe within my womb, I touch no one and no one touches me"? That's some heavy shit loneliness. I've definitely been there, and in many ways I still am. It's an extended meditation on a subject mentioned in passing in The Eagle's "Your Lying Eyes": "I guess every form of refuge has its price." Simon's "If I never loved, I never would have cried" decision to retreat from the world is a very typical INT reaction to the pain of failed relationships with other people; another Kristofferson tune with a related subject is

: "a disillusioned dreamer who would never love again, who tried a bit and found that it was rotten; preferring perfect strangers to the company of friends, for strangers are so easily forgotten."

Isn't there a difference between being alone and being lonely? I am alone a lot but I hardly consider myself lonely. I have any number of people I can be with from a superficial meeting to have beers at the pool to talking about any topic with my "good friends." I happen to like being alone. The OP wanted a theme song for the INTJ. I think you would agree, no wait a minute you did already agree

that you have been there. Sounds like a good theme song to me.

Nothing Else Matters by Metallica

My personal favorite, and self-chosen theme song.

NF Some said the local lake had been enchanted
ST Others said it must have been the weather
SF The neighbors were trying to keep it quiet
NT But I swear that I could hear the laughter
ESFP Local kids would still go swimming, drinking
Didn't care as long as he was able to strip his clothes off by the dumpster
At night while everyone was sleepin
And wade midway into that porridge--just him and the secret he was keeping

I agree with these two.

For the sake of adding, here's something funny I found that might ring true for the INTJs that love the impossible:
