Hey.

Thought I'd drop by and make an account here, now that I'm 18 and wouldn't have to lie about my age.

I'll probably just post in dream and psychology threads. As well as some of my own dream threads. It will be interesting to see how people here respond to them.

Hello!

What is your interest in dreams and psychology? Are a Freudian by any chance? A neo-Freudian? Or something different?

And a high five for being 18! (I'm 18 too)

Freud was a crack addict, and many of his ideas reflect that, but the one thing I do agree with him on is the concept (but not function) of the Id, Ego, and Superego. Most everything else I believe is based on modern psychology and neurology.

This statement is a win... which makes you a winner... :D

I find Freud out there myself, however; his theories are still interesting to read, if not for a good laugh or two. Especially his Oedipus/Electra Complex theory...

I myself follow a more modern Behaviorist approach. While I do like neurology, I feel as though neurology and psychology are two different studies. But that is just me... call me strange.

Wow one day here and already a question detailing something I'd rather post.

In that case I'll stick with the dream in witch I create and travel through interdimensional holes; abducting a young girl and taking her as my bride, and then in another dimension destroying an entire civilization and enslaving the remainder of the inhabitant.
