Existing, I guess. I fucking love watermelon, though, so I'm not a complete anti-stereotype.

I can't think of much off the top of my head besides being an atheist, introvert, vegan and liking science fiction. I listen to different kinds of music but I only like a few rock songs and no heavy metal. I plan on listening to more classical music although, in my opinion, it lacks the soul of jazz and Buddhist/New Age music, which I'm also trying to learn more about.

I listen to rock and metal and also love to swim! Because I don't speak Ebonics or act ghetto, people always ask me if I'm adopted. Come to think of it, I really should be offended when people tell me that I "speak well" and that I'm articulate. What were they expecting???

Im black but I'm not loud, angry, and I don't like parties. It's pretty crazy that most of the young people in the black community look down upon people that don't fit the stereotype.

And are you called out on it?

I forgot to answer this part. I'm about to graduate from an HBCU, and, despite my prior assumptions about being an absolute enigma, I've found plenty of people who like what I like (and I barely know any people). Rap, R&B, and Gospel are still what you would hear in a random student's music player, but I've found plenty of people bucking the trend. In my experience, these types of people are usually either in the honors program or are engineering/non-biological science majors.

I am not rude, I don't eat cheese, nor do I drink wine; moreover, I don't talk loudly, I don't smoke marijuana, and I don't drink rum or any alcoholic beverage for that matter. Note: I am biracial of French and Jamaican ancestry.

A dangerous question, a loaded question! If you look at children under 8 in the US, the majority is not white and this is the cohort that will be voting in 10 years. Biracial couples (and children) are far more commonplace now than in Clarence Thomas' time. The shift has already occurred and the stereotypes seen on TV or otherwise are FAR from truth.

People are unique: not the antitheses here in my own person. I love powerlifting and poetry, speak seven languages fluently but not because I grew up in a high-crime neighborhood, listen to metal and new age music,a college athlete who wears glasses, a powerfully built Asian, a highly analytical mind that understands emotions very well...

Very stilted Spanish from the Southland? Better use "el idioma" unless your last sentence is intended to be "I love tongue although I don't need to use it"

Asian-European, i think being multi-racial is an advantage and does not readily categorize, i like it especially when i look like one thing and sound like another, its a toss-up from there and makes me readily approachable

I out asian asians sometimes.

I second that; I am mostly German and as good with chopsticks as a lot of foreign born Asians and use them for most meals. I also have a rice cooker.

Though I am sure I got other stuff, Hawaiian, but prolly not enough to get that land and money. I like Japanese culture more, especially the food and the wacky stuff they invent. But I like the traditional Chinese clothing more like the hanfus an qipaos instead of kimonos.

I listen mostly to Classical and Jazz music. Apart from that, I mostly act iconoclastic for entertainment.

Oh, yes. I'm a combination of French, Norwegian and British ethnicities, with a small bit of Iroquois.

Do your family and friends not know that Jimi Hendrix was black? There have been other blacks in rock but even if he'd been the only one, still...amazing.

Oh, and I'm white and like some rap and other black music like r&b, reggae, classic blues and such. Nowadays, though, I don't think it's that uncommon for whites to like black music. Was it ever uncommon?

I remember looking at that web site "Stuff White People Like" and liking a lot of the things they posted. Oh well.

Oh yes of course, my mom actually likes rock music too but more of the 1970s-80s bands but she trashes mine.

I guess the watermelon thing means you're black. But surely there is no sterotype out there saying blacks typically don't exist?

Or maybe you mean having a socially acceptable mode of behavior that is distinctly black is what doesn't exist? You may have a point. But that might also be true for all races, when you get right down to it. 'It' being socially acceptable behavior in a multiracial world.
