Hi everyone! Since this will be my very first post in this forum, I decided I might as well make it something, unlike many others who may only post a few lines.

(Before I continue, I want to point out something I noticed in the introductory FAQs. One does not have the option of deleting their account here, nor can the administrators do that either. They gave their reasons, and while I understood their motives, I could not help but feel that you must be absolutely sure that you want to join this forum. So I hope joining here was not a mistake, since I would not want to have any regrets.)

I actually stumbled on the INTJ Forum more like by accident. Partly out of boredom, I was randomly job searching on Google for my Holland Code, which is ASI by the way, when I came upon someone’s thread somewhere here that had a link to a Holland Code quiz. Then I noticed the site’s name involves one of the Myers-Briggs types, and contemplated on joining after exploring around here a bit first.

For a while, I always thought I was an ISFJ, but it seems there is a little discrepancy between some sources and their descriptions of each of the letters. I realized I might actually have elements of both ISFJ and INFJ, but I will state myself to be ISFJ, since it was the type I associated myself with longer. Besides, I hear ISFJ’s have been misrepresented on this site, and have recently come under scrutiny, for reasons I have yet to determine. So I may be glad to lend my fellow ISFJs, and INFJs, a hand if I can.

I do not want to be rich and famous. I do not want to start a movement. I do not want to be a CEO of a major company or anything like that. I am just a normal person trying to make sense of this sorry excuse of a world everyone has to live in today.

I can sometimes have a little difficulty trusting new people. I think it may have all started from when certain individuals have wronged me in my childhood and early past. I believe that trust is usually something that has to be earned.

And I guess that is my piece for now, and it is nice to meet you all here. If you have any questions for me, just ask! (Provided that it is not something that will make any of us feel uncomfortable.)
