Any chess players?

If yes, then what do you enjoy about it?

I like to play, but I don't get a chance to do it very often. My oldest child has recently expressed some curiosity about it, so I might try to teach him some of the basics.

I like the overall strategy aspect of the game. I like to see the theory behind different strategies played out and see how other players respond.

Its the only game I play (no Xbox, PS, etc.) I enjoy playing against people I know and various strategies. It's a thinking game, fairly easy to understand but quite complex. I find when I play it more, I get very good at it. People tell me I am relentless at attack (barely ever am I on defense).

I could see how most INTJs would like it, like I do.

Yeah the strategy part excites me; its like a war game. I read somewhere that it can help prevent things like alzheimer's purely becuase it encourages things such as memory and thinking
