I did something real stupid. I deleted a user profile on the Mac, and it took iphoto with it.
Is there anyway to restore without spending a small fortune on recovery software? I do not have time machine. I thought of getting a restore disc from mac...$17, right? I also considered purchasing the newest I works, instead of upgrading to snow leopard, to recover the apps. Any higher mac knowledge would be appreciated. |

Use an OEM Mac disk; one came with your computer. That will restore yiur Mac to factory settings (including the factory-original OS). If you do not possess one, purchase one.
Purchase an iLife suite for the least headache, however. The software is relatively cheap and is the easiest method if you do not want to upgrade to Snow Leopard to get the latest versions. |
