Hi,
I am Janetta, 19 years old from Lithuania.I'm studying biology at the moment.I take a special interest in evolution. I'm like Bobby Fischer, crazy about chess. It's all about it.
I do love History (mostly World War II) and politics.
Hoping to find more friends here.

Welcome Janetta (from the States). I hope you enjoy the forum as much as I do.

I enjoy history as well. There is a new book out called Bloodlands, Europe Between Hitler and Stalin, by Timothy Snyder. Its about what happened in Eastern Europe (including Lithuania) between 1932 and 1945. Very interesting read.

Yay! another chess lover. I hope your similarity to Bobby Fischer doesn't go beyond a chess obsession, though.
Evolution is cool, but I personally can't stand history - too S for me.

Hi Janetta,

My family is half-Lithuanian (Kelpsa) from the old town of Shuki (which I believe was close to Kretinga). I hope to travel there in the next few years.

Welcome to the forum. Sėkmės.
