The only people I know who really dislike police are people who've been in trouble with them...

In my opinion, yeah they may not be perfect, but they do a necessary job that a lot of other people wouldn't. Someone has to enforce the law to have a stable society I think.

The police here is pretty laid back and pragmatic. No nit-picking or general pain in the ass.
