I just finished rereading It Happened on the Way to War by Rye Barcott.

I had heard him speak and was so inspired by his story about creating a nonprofit, Carolina for Kibera, in the largest slum of Nairobi, Kenya, while also serving as a Marine. My favorite quote is "Talent is universal; opportunity is not" - made me rethink how I'm using my life.

Empirical Methods for Artificial Intelligence by Paul R. Cohen, which is more of "How to play with statistics for people who never had to take statistics for compsci". The book is a textbook, but has no problems.

Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality by Less Wrong. Harry is now an INTJ and booted back into the story. This fanfic is a hoot and I'm really enjoying it.

Do college textbooks count? If so, I am reading C: How to Program (Deitel & Deitel). The last books I read outside of school were the Obernewtyn Chronicles.
