Many people create links to other parts of this forum and some even lead to other sites.
How to create link like that ? |

Copy and paste the web address from your browser. The forum software automatically converts the address to a link.

Well, you have two options:
a) The default is a check box when you post that automatically converts links. b) Use the vb code [url]http://link[/url] yourself, which is what I normally do Have a look here: http://intjforum.com/showthread.php?t=2446 to see what else you can do |

For the sake of adding an extra layer of confusion, you can also use this format to make linkified text:
Code:
[URL="http://www.google.com/"]Insert text here[/URL] Of course, you can replace the link and text with anything of your choice. |

Yes. Colors are disabled because we plan to add templates with different colored backgrounds in the future. Fonts only look the same if everyone has them installed. Since there isn't much of a point in using various fonts on the forum (and we prefer the look of the more visually consistent format), we have them disabled. |

Letting the admin manage those settings makes the software more versatile.... |

Also, different colours and font's drive me (and most people) nuts. Most forums I'm on ban it.
